Hope there has been some drainage work over the summer at the North Brunswick Bog and the West Brunswick Weir. At least we dont have to play at the South Mornington tuff mudder and the concrete slab at Point cook any more.

Excellent facilities out at Point Cook!

26mill well spent.

Playing oval has no lights, so won't be cut up by training.

Two grassed ovals, on synthetic and still have access to the old ground, most likely for training only (juniors)

Best football facility in the west bar the western oval, and werribee and Willy VFL.

Looking forward to getting the electronic scoreboard going too!

Yeah, I've heard its an amazing set up out there. From all reports I think the neighbouring clubs are quite jealous.
No lights? How and when will the senior team train if only the juniors are training at the old ground?

26 Million! They will have to play finals there!

No exterior fences Waz! and complex is huge - 3 soccer fields, tennis etc, its a big area to fence off! temporary fencing would cost a fortune!

Hawthorn (Won't lose a game)
Eley Park (Think that D4 is weak this year and Eley Park are always around the mark)
Point Cook (Think they play enough at home hope someone fixes the game plan!!)
Manningham (Strong Club who will improve)
Nth Brunswick (They have to finish somewhere and are better than the teams below them?)
Northern Blues (Only won 5 games last year in B grade 3rds not a strong form line but as stated it's a weak year)
West Brunswick (Not sure, the best player in D4 is a big out!)
Box Hill (Lucky for BH 1 new teams and 2 teams who can't get out of their own way)
Dragons (Only won 4 games div 2 in the worst comp in Victoria could be a long year)
Chadstone (Thanks god for MtL would be the catch cry this year which one of the two will win away or at home by enough)
Mt Lilydale (I'm so happy to see MtL struggle warms the cockles of my heart, enjoy clubbies footy)

Cosmo, I know the coach has sat down over the summer and nutted out a game plan, only taking advice from the experts. Surley you answered your phone.

Not sure how they will go but i know some have moved over to the new team Sanctuary Lakes playing in the WRFL. I know the D4 B&F player and his brother have.

Robos, Heard that Jordan has jumped ship at Sanctuary Lakes and signed on with East Keilor. Wouldnt be suprised if his brother follows him, but we havent recieved any knowledge of where he will end up. Jake Rogers and Tommy Hyde are the other two that went to Sanctuary Lakes. Both handy but replacable.

How has every other club gone recruiting this year?

I see the best player in the comp is off to the Yarra Valley from WB.

Clearances on website have been a little slow.

Hacks can do wonderful things with Internet connections.

Don't sell yourself short Cosmo!

Milney was looking forward to getting back out on the park this year, but thought better of it. I don't want to get caught out with the disability payments i'm getting coupled with the dole, then i could be in real strife! Looking forward to going out to PC this year, hearing all the glorious things about the new playing facilities! May make a weekend of it... Actually I won't get carried away it is Point Cook! Jokes aside Milney is gearing up for a big 2013 of ranting and raving! Something that I'm good at! Hopefully RM gets back on board and throws a few barbs around the joint!

There is work getting done on the Royal Park North complex. At this stage WBAFC unlikely to be on the lower ground near the rail lines, as we have been in the past, and more likely on the ground immediately adjacent. Pretty similar but better drainage from being slightly elevated. Better view from the clubrooms too.

HAHA Cosmo you goose!! Dragons won SFL D3 premiership before finishing above two other clubs paying coin in SFL D2. NO team in VAFA D4 would be competitive in such a cashed-up league / division. SFL D2 last year = Pretty sure if Springy Districts who forked out $50k in player payments failed to make the finals, it's the 'Worst Comp' hey??!! Bentleigh who were in VAFA D2 in 2010 were not even competitive against the top teams in SFL D2. Ya muppet.

Dragons will easily take out this year's flag. They should have entered into D2 or D3 if it wasnt objected by other clubs. Only team to come close would be Hawthorn.

The Ammo's have a blanket policy that all teams start in D4. There is no wiggle room, even if Balwyn were to come across they would start in D4. Clubs would not even get a say in the matter.
In regards to Bentleigh, I recall the first year in the SFL they finished runner up - so I think they were more than competitive.

Fair point mate although I was referring to how the Dragons would line up against competition in SFL vs VAFA. Obviously SFL D2 is miles ahead of VAFA D3/4...
