AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Was BOG against the Hawks, and has been among our best in the other three matches. This is bigfooty though, I would expect nothing less than ignorance from opposition supporters. Underestimate him at your peril, the kid is finally becoming the player he should be. Less flash, more output.
He cops a lot of criticism, but watch the work he does off the ball.
My biggest criticism is that he hasn't been able to read the play and get to the fall of the ball as much as he should given his abilities. I thought a couple of seasons as a tagger would do him the world of good as it would make him follow around the very best players and learn off them.
He was very good sat nite, but a plank of wood would have looked good against Hawthorn.
Not the right time to start a man love Daisy thread.
I think that Dale Thomas has clearly improved alot this year and is starting to live up to expectations....
He was one of Collingwood's best players in that match. Can't say I noticed him much against us. Whenever Collingwood are winning big, Daisy comes alive.
This thread is about Dale Thomas, and not Brett Peake, David Armitage or Stephen Milne.Downhill skier for mine
Overrated and soft......always has been and always will be
cough Nick Dal Santo coughCan't say I noticed him much against us.

This thread is about Dale Thomas, not Bryce Gibbs mate
One of the big reasons we drafted him was his ability to play in the big games, he has done that so far.
You know all these Pies fans are itching for Thomas to come close to living up to the hype.. He's so far away its embarrassing.
He's played his 1 good game out of 8. Expect this thread to die right down then get bumped about round 12 or 13 when he next plays a 'decent' game.
!
Must have a pretty good soothsayer at Collingwood to identify a big match performer at 17 years of age.
The only thing 'Shaking' is Thomas himself when he sees that he has to put his head over the ball or try to put his body on the line.

Must have a pretty good soothsayer at Collingwood to identify a big match performer at 17 years of age.The same soothsayer also identified Steele Sidebottom as a big match performer at 17 years of age.
In Hine we trust.
Wouldn't have been hard. Dale Thomas was BOG in the TAC cup grand final the year he was drafted.
