I'll put it this way, his ceiling isn't as high as Smith, FOS, Langford but he's more consistent with his output than them imo. I think pick 2 is high for him personally.

If it's North's (or anyone's) F1 we should make them wait to 2026 for the trade. If they want him now we should ask for picks in the current draft.

You've got a guy who will play very high level football and transform the way his new club moves the ball from HB and enters 50, for the next 6 years (minimum). Are we supposed to take our chances that pick 14 might be an equivalent player in due course?

I stated in another thread that we should turn Houston into a top 12 pick and Lukosius.

I rate Lukosius as a pick 15-20.

So pick 12 and Lukosius has similar value to me as two mid-late first round picks, which is eminently fair.

Others are suggesting we add in pick 54 or give something back to make it work which I don’t think should be at all necessary.

My desire for pick 9 and NM’s F1R would be asking for a lot more.

Port may have a higher opinion of him than other clubs. I've only watched him play once and it broke my heart that I thought he would end up at the Crows.

There's no definitive best 2. I would take him over Jagga Smith personally. Draper has more hurt factor with his possessions. Jagga is the popular number 2 at present.

There's the thing. North need that mid teen pick for the kid they are after. If we want pick 2 we need to find them that mid teen pick. I'm sure we are working on it.
