From what I've heard someone (Probably wife or ex wife) had an apprehended violence order (AVO) against him for previous violence, and last night he went on an ice fueled rampage and broke that. This is all allegedly, violence involved.

IF what he has done is as serious as it sounds, then I have zero sympathy for him. Whoever posted the photo should be punished strongly but not fired, that's ridiculous.

I guess the point is that the cop doesn't know if the charges are true or not, if they aren't do you then have extra sympathy for his privacy being broken?

Considering he was caught in the act there would be no doubt the charges are true... They literally caught him doing it.

I would suspend the cop without pay for 2 weeks, but it's dumb to suggest he should lose his career over it. Most people have made dumb choices at work.
