Laidley got a court diversion progam... charges dismissed after writing a letter of thanks to police.
How is that justice for the woman who was terrorised? So unfair in my opinion.
All the emphasis of the discusison is on Laidley and not on ensuring justice for the victim of Laidley's crimes.

And even if they don't learn a lesson, at least they are away from the victims. Being confined to a prison means they're not on the streets offending.
