Cross is as an extremely good and talented player, with only his kicking letting him down at times.

Watson is an slow, untalented, unskilled plodder who is in the top 10 of worst AFL players, just an complete and utter crab.

Cross wins by a bit but I think Jobe is underrated. People expect him to be a carbon copy of his father which is far too harsh.

Cross steals footballs from training and takes them home, he then gets his girlfriend/wife to hide them in different cupboards around the house so that when he opens them the balls fall out unexpectedley and he tries to catch them to sharpen his skills. That is a strange comment.
Are you suggesting that Daniel Cross has been put on some sort of pedestal?

There would hardly be a single Bulldog supporter who would rate Cross in the top 5 midfielders currently going around.

The problem is that Essendon supporters are totally delusional in comparing Watson.

Does anybody outside of Essendon supporters believe Watson rates. Realistically Watson would struggle to get a game at at least half the clubs in the competition and he is being overtaken by 2nd and 3rd year players in the competition pecking order.

Cross is better but Jobe Watson is a very good footballer in his own right. In terms of getting the 1st disposals from a ruck contest Jobe was 2nd in the AFL last year, that does not happen unless you are very talented.
