Daniel Kerr impresses this Pies supporter

At the game yesterday and these days you dont get to admire too many great footballers with Hird, Riccutio, Buckley and Judd never to reach his brilliance again. I watched Kerr closely yesterday while sitting with my eagles mate, and although he is injured he never stopped once yesterday, at times he was clearly stuffed and almost falling over, but was always on the move. To have his engine room in Cuz and Judd leaving this bloke has taken his game to the next level and I appreciated watching this special footballer.
You supporters might not think he played that well yesterday but I did nothing but admire the work rate of this little BULLDOG.
Although you have lost 2 great footballers and are struggling at the minute sit back and enjoy what this champion does, I did it for 14 years watching Nathan Buckley. I think he will reach greatness!!!!

it wasnt meant that he was going to the bulldogs it meant just look at the way he runs and puts his head over the ball he is so stocky and well built that he runs like a bulldog thats all

but the guy is a champion and and always gives 100% if every player had his work rate - we might not be sitting where we are now!

As for wishing the others had his workrate, well I expect they will when they get out of nappies. Your boys got done by the men on Saturday, its to be expected that a side with so many youngsters will have fade-outs.

They will be a fearsome mob in 20-40 games time, but like us in 2004&5 you will probably feel some pain while they earn their stripes

yeah kerr is a good example setter as to how hard you must work to have an impact on matches.

Kerr is a classy player, no doubt. but his work rate cannot be questioned and our young players will learn from him.

he's the perfect example of Class + Grunt. gun, when he's on he is one of the best in the comp.

i just saw in the age http://www.realfooty.com.au/news/news/the-injury-report/2008/06/01/1212258648452.html that Kerr 'limped off' with an ankle injury and is doubtful for this weekend. I didn't see the game unfortunately but I just wanted to check here if that's true?

He came back on and played out the game, but only walked laps today from all reports... He will be given every last opportunity to prove his fitness for this weeks match.
