Maybe because it is on minimal coin and provides mature option. We have a few young Talls and Reid provides a cheap stop gap for next year.

I wouldnt extend him due to injury history myself, but i can understand the logic if they do.

To me it comes down to dollars. I would rather Jenkins over Reid given injury history, but depends on pick and $ cost. Reid probably considerably cheaper.

I like the fact he’s a natural footballer. Less like the rucks that don’t excel at rucking and don’t have A key strength. I guess he’s good depth that we so desperately need.
