I think we are going to have to shelve him for the rest of the year.

By my count,he hasnt finished 3 games this year and was a very late withdrawal from another one.

It throws everything out when you lose a kpp during a game,and i just uave no confidence in his hammys right now.

He has been playing catchup since a very delayed pre season, and just hasnt got himself right.

May be time to put him away and ensure he has a solid pre season. If we are lucky enough to make finals, we just cant trust him at the moment.

He should sign a short term deal. Would be extremely unfair to ask the club for a huge contract based on his limited output for some time now. Hoping it makes other clubs think twice about throwing him a massive deal as well.

Also, one of Buddys first quarter goals came from the deliberate rusher behind from Maynard,so cant count that against Moore.

Moore took a few nice intercept marks, which is something we missed for the rest of the game. Id say we were badly hurt by his injury

I am not sure Darcy Moore would leave the contest just because "he is soft" and that it was "just awareness" because he was able to run off. Anyone that has strained a hammy before (level 1 tear) knows the ping you feel. Why would he stay on until it comes off the bone?

Our sports and conditioning department might be a factor, or the surface of our ground, or the lack of preseason, or all the below factors combined. Who knows?

This is terrible for both the player and the club. I agree that we can't possibly offer him a lucrative multi-year deal as things stand. I hope the club manages to find a middle ground with him and gets the right advice about how to fix the guy. We're better with him @ 100%.

We should have Aish, treloar and JDG back and maybe Reid, and that's a huge addition. And would like to see if FAz has imporoved his game. V hard to tell with 2's.

Hope so, Treloar, JDG value to us is basically on par of the value of Cotchin & Martin to Tiggers, so imagine our upside if everything is clicking together.

His Hamstrings have cost us 2 games this year,we simply have to get right for next year.A 2 yr contract with games played proviso otherwise we trade him out,he is talented but he is fragile and we have had 1 of those in Reid whom I think was more talented than Moore and has been a bigger loss to us.
I would not play Moore again this season,Just pick MaClarty and play him forward Mihocek will have to play back I don,t think it would be fair to MaClarty to play him down back immediately but he should be made into a backman again pre season.

There is no doubt in my mind that Pies need to do everything to move Moore & Elliott on and free up a mill in salary cap use the first round picks to acquire a ready made defender (May hopefully) & if Lynch has agreed with us, then it makes no difference how we Finnish this season

Pies would be negligent if they don’t !!!

Yeah because those two players would be on a million. What happens if we move them on and Lynch and May don’t come?

We are better off looking at the medical staff. Look at Dylan Grimes he never use to be able to get on the park now since the start of 2017 he hasn’t missed a game

He always has the shape which the white jumper exaggerates.

But last night he was up and about.

Scored 6.4 of their whole score.
Elite player, he was their winner.

It is not that he is unwanted but more that has been injury prone for the last season or 2 and we just cannot afford any passengers.I think this season he has cost us more momentum than any other player and I really don,t see the point in playing him with his body as such.

Yeah here inlies the issue. Most of the physios and trainers volunteer at the club. While that is great from the blokes who do it’s the 21st century

I'd be more inclined to trade Moore for Aliir and a pick.. Aliir is out of contract. His worth is $400k or so.. and judging by what I saw last night.. the bloke is the goods. Not paying him 800k by the way.
