We know what Moore is capable of. Give us a chance to slot someone else in to see their worth. Plus put a little more pressure on our other backs to cover the gaping hole.

At one time we had all these intercepting backs. Langdon, Howe, Moore. Now we have none available this season.

On the "plus" side (using that term rather loosely) we'll get a good extended look at KPD options from the fringe group (Keane?, Wilson?, Kelly?) as well for a run of games down back now.

I'd like to see how Tohill goes as well in a game or two as well before we decide whether to continue with or draw a line through him, but that might be up forward rather than down back.

Thankfully Roughy is in career best form at the moment.

Moore out will give us an opportunity to have a better look at Tohill, Kelly and Keane.

I like Keane, and would think he’d get the first opportunity. The depending on form you give Kelly a crack and Tohillpoor fella lost an entire year of development last year and this season hasn’t started to well either.

2022 is unlikely to be any more injury free than any other year for those 4 players.

Yeah look, our season is done, and while this sucks big time, we need to get games into Kelly, Keane, etc and see if they can play at the level.

He is a big omission, but our record of covering for guys like Moore missing is actually pretty good. Get's a bit harder when you're also missing Howe from that back 6 but still not insurmountable.

Exactly. A knee ligament strain vs the knee obliterations we've witnessed is relatively palatable news

Adams, Moore and Howe play high octane footy, not bruise free like some, so it makes them more vulnerable to injuries. Moore's was an impact injury in the dying minutes the other 2 had major collision injuries.

If it wasn't for bad luck Darcy would have none, rather it happen now than down the track though, will be back bigger and better.
