So now we see Madgen every week for the rest of the year. I feel sick. I was still hoping for a few more upsets but that ship has sailed. Is there any club aside from GWS with a worse track record for keeping their best players on the park as they say? Adams, Elliott, Howe, Moore and DeGoey have all missed huge chunks of games in their careers and all sit comfortably in our top 8 players.

My one remaining hope for this year was to knock off Richmond and beat Carlton a second time. Now we'll front up to Richmond with a refreshed Lynch and new gun Jones to deal with as well as Jack. But Keane and Tohill will come to the party and do the job.

I really hate this year.

On 31 December last with the last seconds of the year fading faster than my remaining capacity for thought due to about a thousand Ray Charles' after a nice foundation of Jagerbombs, I was heard to declaim that at least I had seen off what I confidently expected to be the shittiest ****stain of a year I ever expected to see.

So, if this year continues on its current trajectory, you can probably blame me for not following that statement with "knock on wood", throwing salt over my shoulder, or turning around several times and spitting (I did technicolour yawn, but that doesnt count).

I will pay you back in beer.

I saw him out there with a few minutes to go. After they got the last goal with a few mins to go I saw him pounded the turf in anger that they got it.

Wrap most of the boys up and call it the year really. Moore, Howe, Brown, Adams, Greenwood (retired end of season) and whoever else needs to have surgery and recover. We just played our grand final for this year. Not making real finals so might as well play the kids out with what experienced and fringe players can make it on the park. See who’s worth keeping, trading or delisted.
