I think he meant the ground, but probably applies in more ways than one.
Was talking to one of their players today and he tells me that they have picked up a couple of speedy midfielders. He doesnt know their names, but he is a ruckman so there is no surprise there.
Had a captain at Cora Lynn's ground today. Didnt get out of the car and walk on it, but it looks to be in great condition yet again. The sprinkler was going full bore and it looks lush. From where I was parked (about 50m away near the netball courts) and from the same distance away at Darnum, I would have to say the Cora would be better than Darnum, but only by a bee's dick. Of the grounds I have seen They are definately 1-2 in the comp atm.

Lang Langs is in pretty good condition considering the weather. Have had the sprinklers out there for the last few weeks so should be in top notch by the time the cowboys ride the bulls out there and each other after a few too many jim beams or whatever the shit is the cocksockers drink.

Bunyips ground looks like an absolute desert, so glad next fridays praccy match is at cora lynn!!
Bunyip, Longwarry, Ellinbank.... all the same. I reckon Darnum might get a few double game weekends in the first few rounds... who knows?

i heard that kael burgles.. (i think ?? the one with bright orange boots last year, one of your standout players?) has left to Longwarry. Because recruits from sale getting a go before him. it's just a rumor but i thought that one of you boys might be able to confirm it?
bad rumour. kael plays cricket down at longwarry. don't know if he would leave to play footy there.
played in the prac match on saturday night and played well, for darnum that is.
I heard that the guy who used to turn on the pie warmer half way between the warm up and the first bounce of the 3rds for Darnum is now going to turn it on before the warm up in anticipation of bigger crowds flocking to Darnum home games to watch the Bombers 3 indigenous recruits, Phil Harris, Chris Aurisch and Brenton Martin.

How Many Goals Will Nilma Darnum win the Grand Final by?
Hey everyone, just like to get your thoughts on how much Darnum will win the GF by? I was going to add a poll, but, I don't know how to.
The options were going to be:
8 - 15 goals,
15 - 25 goals,
25 or more goals.
Surely there is no need for a 7 or under category. We could probably add a category which is, a record margin, I guess.

My thoughts are that Cora Lynn will touch you up by 10+ goals. You will be battling with Nar Nar Goon to even play in a GF.

What exactly have you heard about my mates? That one of them won the West Gippy Latrobe senior goal kicking at 18, one of them has been in the top 4 leading goal kickers in the West Gippy Latrobe League for the past 4 seasons, one of them has played in 6 senior premierships in the last 10 seasons, one of them was a regular midfielder in the West Gippy Latrobe senior premiership side last year? Any other teams in the league that have those accolades? I wouldn't think so. And, from the looks of it on the net here, these guys aren't even the best players at the club.

If someone comes to you and offers you something, and you choose to take it, that is not greed. Greed would be if they got down there and 8 rounds in they asked for a pay rise.
You may, or may not choose to say they are mercenaries, however I don't think greed is really applicable.
If your boss walked into your office/worksite/wherever your place of work is and offered to double your pay to do the same job, if you take it, are you greedy, or just smart?
