I have a great idea.. hear me out... how about we add some other ****ing random colours to our prison bar guernsey?
you ask why?
Well the thing is.. its just a guernsey. Colours? who cares about that.. they are just colours
What about the heritage you say? well we did play in a pink guernsey once and some blue hooped shit. The Prison Bars one is only one of many we have worn even if we have worn it for 120 years and won 35 premierships in it.
Surely its no big deal that we thumb our nose to 120 years of PAFC history and add some other colours to the guernsey, and make it "not" our historic guernsey anymore and being completely pointless.
........
Note to opposition supporters... every time you suggest this shit, it reads pretty much like the above... and we are sick of it
The black and white wharf pylon / prison bar guernsey has historic significance to the Port Adelaide area as it represents the wharf pylons down the Port. Its not just some shit that was whacked together yesterday. We introduced the guernsey which represented the PAFC and the Port Adelaide community in 1902.. thats right... almost 120 years ago, and then wore it (and continue to wear it in the SANFL until this day).
We will never desecrate it by adding colours so stop ****ing suggesting we do.
