Real shame to see Raonic pull the pin early.

Sad to see veterans such as Murray, Wawrinka, Nadal (withdrew) and Raonic all struggling. We're now close to an end of an era from the generation born in the late 80s/early 90s.

I guess nothing lasts forever.

Djokovic is the only one in his age group that's sustained his high performance.

Mannarino is doing ok and is close to Djokovic’s age. Dimitrov too.

Like Drummond said, he is rarely fit and most certainly not at the top of his game.
He was never winning this. Alex is far too fit for him.

Depends how you would describe “fit”.

For me I would say that is match fit. That would suggest no injury at all. I could see Raonic just servebotting Demon through 3 sets like he did in the first. Unfortunately for him, he is injured.

Well I just read why crowds are allow to walk in between points etc. Apparently it is a new rule which has been brought in. People can come and go as they please even when it is not a sit down.
Welcome back Dokic to commentary, hopefully you are feeling better.
I am clearly into oldmanyellsatclouds territory because this is ludicrous. Surely this can't be true?

I noticed Djokovic complain to the umpire last night and Blom agreed with him, but I just thought Djokovic was complaining about the dickheads who don't understand etiquette.

We'll probably soon be in a world where letting people alight off public transport first will no longer be a thing.

It's certainly not a 'woke' decision though, like Jordan Thompson described it today. Does seem a bit odd they are allowing it, but Jordan might want to read up on what 'woke' actually means.

Woke - anything that I don't like.

Used in the correct context I think.

I don't even know what 'woke' means but then again I'm not up with all the latest jargon. I'm so old school. Jordan was complaining as well.
BTW I like what Garcia is wearing. Not too keen on Naomi's outfit.

I liked that outfit too today on the chick that beat the number 7th seed

Seems like Thompson described the decision accurately to me but that is a discussion for another thread.
Beats reading pages and pages of:

x player is shit lol
x player is going to choke lol
I knew x player was going to win lol
I knew x player was going to lose lol
