Given there is a time clock for the sit downs, it's pretty easy to tell the attendants to close the exits at the 50sec mark rather than when the umpire calls time.
And then shoot anyone still standing when players are ready to serve. I'd volunteer for that job.
Isn't half the fun of going to the tennis complaining about having to wait? And you invariably have the two games that have 10 deuces?

Medvedev complained in his press conference as well and thought a better outcome would increase the sit down time from 45 to 90 secs.

I wish it was this easy. Seriously, people will just ignore you and keep walking. You tell them to sit, they do it for 5 seconds and then start walking again. you literally have to get in front of them and shepherd them away. Even then, people will look in the eye with a look of "how dare you. I don't care if I am late and going to interrupt everyone who got here on time, I demand to be let in. "

Tiley doesn't care about the players he is more interested in revenue and having the fans moving about between points or whenever they feel like it. Seriously it is like when you go to a concert and people are always getting up to get a drink etc, FFS sit down and enjoy the concert. Do you really need to go to the bar for another overprice drink in a plastic container. Sit TFD.

I actually don’t mind it. You want to charge let’s say $180 a ticket why should you have to wait 15 mins outside? So long as you just find a seat sit down and find your actual seat in the changeover who really cares
I can't wait to see how Sinnakova and Hunter go playing doubles together and they are seeded third. However, for multi GS champs Caro and Kiki M are not seeded. Very strange and they weren't seeded in Adelaide either.

Last year we had a great usher at MCA who was really friendly, explaining to people how to queue so as to not block everyone else and made sure people had shown their tix before the umpire called time and reminded people not to straggle lest a player gives you the stink eye.
They would repeat the same spiel all day, but it was said in a jovial tone and they put in the effort to engage with everyone. Was quite enjoyable.

Naomi should consider playing doubles, to bring back match fitness and work on her game.
