Since you asked: The Eureka Tower (worlds second tallest residential building), The Arts Centre, Chapel St, The MCG, Rod Laver Arena, Etihad Stadium (would be the best ground for watching sport in the country- extraordinary atmosphere when the roof is closed and the stadium full), the Sandbelt golf courses, Mornington Peninsula golf courses, Bells Beach (a proper surf beach), half the annual rainfall of Sydney, huge sporting crowds providing amazing atmosphere, the Boxing Day test, Formula One Grand Prix, Australian Moto GP, Melbourne Cup Carnival, Australian Open tennis, AFL Grand Final, etc. (ie. all the events Sydney want to pinch off us).
