So from reports 2 first rounders for Dayne. Rather be using 2 first rounders on May. But will take it.
Need to lose the May obsession.
Two firsts for Dayne is overs but If a second comes back to us I’d do that

We're out of that race.
They owe us for Witts though.
Massively.
Or care!Bet they don't see it that way.
Bloke knows the Media watch his Instagram because of the media reports saying he deleted his previous post that he was staying. Probably doing this as well for a few giggles.Means nothing, Hawthorn posters were getting a hard on when their players were on Shiels instagram account as well
Our firsts are very close to seconds anyway.Need to lose the May obsession.

I just hope people in here don't back track if we fall out of the 8 next year and that first round pick is a top 10 pick. This years first and next years 2nd seems fair imo.
It’s still overs for a 29 year old unless a second comes back to us, for academy points if nothing elseOur firsts are very close to seconds anyway.

I'm intrigued if anyone has ever done a study to see what the average retirement age is for players split up by player type.
If he can play decent footy until he's 34, then 2 (barely) first rounders is not too much.
Bittersweet.Whispers going around the Trade is Done and Waiting for Announcement.
Beams to Pies and May to Melbourne
Bittersweet.
2-3 years is in our hitting zone based on how we finished 2018. That doesn't mean we will definately be contending and it doesn't count other teams making large gains and passing us but we can only go on where we think we are and what we think will bridge the gap to win us a premierhsip. We are entitled to think we are close and based on the 2 finals we lost we were beaten in the midfield as well as by the lack of a KP defender.I'm intrigued if anyone has ever done a study to see what the average retirement age is for players split up by player type.

If he has half the career of GOD, we've done well.I’m not a fan of this beams trade.
Degoey is obviously going to be our Gary Ablett senior. Was really hoping we’d get Bruce and a KPD, as good as beams is he’s too old and we need decent KPP coverage. Dunne is coming back from a reco, Reid is broken, and I’d rather see degoey take over as number 1 mid till sier is ready for it.
I really hope this pays off.
May didn’t even finish top 10 in Suns B&F despite being co-captain and them finishing 17th and him playing in the backline of a team that got belted every week ...

By contrast Beams finished second in the Lions B&F (and 8th in the Brownlow)

No.If we use two firsts for Beams, does that mean Quaynor is gone?
Given how many games he missed at the Lions and given his off field issues, 34 is a stretch of the imagination.
