Geez. That's not good at all. Those pictures say a story I don't even want to think about. I hope he gets the help that he needs.

Or it was careless driving.Single Car accident.
Hit a power pole.
Either Drunk (would have come out already)
Fell asleep (unlikely as it was 4:45pm)
Or horrible likelyhood he did it on purpose.
There is no point saying anything further about Beams. Everything that can be said has already been said. What we need to know to be certain of his current situation will or cannot not be told. Time to just sit back and wait for an announcement from the club. This thread is now becoming completely unhelpful - whatever issues there are between Beams / Club / players, the situation cannot be aided, helped, clarified or resolved by posts here.
An all round "cease fire - cease posting" would provide a bit of clear air in a difficult situation.
Apart from Beams stabilising his personal circumstances, the club needs needs to stabilise itself so there are no further distractions heading into the season.
I can't imagine he's targeted a power pole and by the looks of the car it's not that bad. If he was deliberately trying to hit something the lack of damage shows he's slowed or braked with minimal impact. No one knows and it could have been something like texting while driving.
Lets all just take a deep breath.
Just looking at photos of the crash scene, single car, head on into a pole, doesn't bode well for the cause of this accident. Hope and thoughts to Beamer and his family...
This is perhaps the biggest scandal of allOn another note... a Kia! Not even a Holden. He really has checked out!
Sometimes people lack the courage the see the act out. Many will try again and succeed. Some get themselves better. The car is barely damaged here, it's not like he's floored it and gone straight into a pole, more like he lost control due to speed or on the phone and braked then hit the pole.

I'll keep a open mind on what happened.
No we shouldn't. Beams was unconscious for ten minutes, so to characterize the crash as minor is something i wouldn't doAnything is possible, but I don't think we need to go from minor car crash to suicide attempt straight away. Far more likely that he was texting/speeding/falling asleep/on drugs ect.
Good news is no one was seriously hurt including any pedestrians.
