What's my motivation for wanting to randomly lynch someone in the village?

Pro-Village players can still make a semi-informed vote on Day 1 with no prior Night knowledge by watching how people act throughout the day. Either way the Village will have more to go on tomorrow. My thinking was that with only 22 players and 2 potentially dead if starting with a normal Night phase the game would be too quick. I will start with a Night phase next time.
