Note the changes. The Mafia is gone so there is now only one evil faction (plus the Stalker). Misa no longer starts with a DEATH NOTE and the Vig is gone. Instead a random VILLAGER will start with Misa's DEATH NOTE. They can attempt to destroy it or use it and pass it on after one use.

(Starting a bit earlier today).

Since discovering the power of the Death Note and meeting the Shinigami Ryuk, Light Yagami (known to the world's press and police agencies as 'Kira') has continued his killing spree unimpeded, eliminating criminals he reads about online or sees on the news from the safety of his own bedroom, requiring no more effort than simply writing their names in his Death Note.

If he specifies a manner of death it comes true (within reason). If he does not specify cause of death they simply die of a heart attack.

Some support his brand of justice. Others are too scared to say anything.

Others still oppose and defy him. A group of these like-minded individuals converge and attempt to flush Kira out. But not everyone is who they seem...

I was thinking the same, and this would have worked great with heaps of players like the Pokemon game. On the other hand, if you take out the amount of inactives lately this number is about right!
