I can only speak certainly of myself but I’m not sure anyone here is celebrating Carlton’s injuries, it’s more just a fun way to keep an eye on where our first round picks sit this year and post news that could help/hinder the team that determines the position of them without having to go to their board.

In saying that, if anyone has some of Patrick Cripps clothing and maybe some hair I have a non voodoo related doll I’d like to accessorise.

Kennedy gone to the dogs, owies to the coast and curnow out with surgery (severely hampered running). Throw in a sprinkling of sayers, Walsh in lambo (still think he will be there best) and a list biased towards the top end.
A dash of a strength and conditioning coach who just packed up and left after being told to play players who weren’t ready and now we find Newman (patella) and Walsh (hamstring - after having a back injury) are out for the year and some of pre season.

Has all the hallmarks of a year very down then what they are expecting. Their putting a lot of stock in jagger who really needs to be looked after in year one

Jagger looked like a stick against other kids his age so it will be interesting to see how he goes against fully grown men. The kid looks like an exciting prospect but I wouldn't say he has the same fearlessness that Day has who was also slight in his first season. All I'll say is good luck to the kid especially when he comes into contact with guys like Newk and Nash.

This thread has 'bad karma' written all over it.

Never cool to celebrate injuries to other teams. You have to beat them at their best, to be the best.

I like the sentiment but the Hindu / Buddhist concept of "Karma" is defined as the sum of a person's ACTIONS in this and previous states of existence then goes on to decide that person's fate in future existences.

If a Carlton player gets injured, as long as NO Hawthorn player causes the injury via unacceptable actions, then "Bad Karmra" does not apply for our team.

If a BigFooty contributor's action is to write a negative post, then that person may get a negative post back. Seems fair.

I'm happy with the death ride on Carlton's ladder position given we have their picks. And I am happy with the idea that West Coast CHOSE POORLY when taking the Hawks 1st and 2nd rounders instead of Carlton's.
