Observations from the open session today.

Very delayed as plane was too.

Fairly.ligjt session of about 50 mins.

All including emergencies trained

Sam still has all the skills necessary, fully involved in all the drills. As we're all the other coaches.

The short kick to a moving target all the way up the field was the main focus. It looks amazingly simple but does help with Croc (CMac31) lacing out each time.

Brockman was kicking them from everywhere in the pocket, Lewis missed his first 8 then finally landed one which was posted to Insta.

We used the boundary when following the coaches box side but more direct on the other. It could be related to the fact the sun will be setting at the beginning of the game and the coaches wanted to ensure the players were aware. Long bow...not sure but distinct differences on each side of the ground.

Good to see the team up in Qld too.

Be interesting to see if the heat plays a part, gonna be warm tomorrow at least for the first half

Game starts at 4:40PM, sunset is around 5:00PM. As I've said before, during this time of year the temperature drops like a stone once the sun is gone. Even before sunset the temperature will drop quite quickly and the chill will set in especially if there is a bit of a breeze.

The majority of the game will be cool conditions, hell I'm betting it all will due to the late start and being that the stadium itself will block the sun early.

Heat won't be factor.
