True, but you can guarantee that McQualter and Clarkson have circled those games as ones they can win.
There's blood in the water and the sharks are circling.
That's my hope too.

Missing our first this year which we gave up for Barrass.Based on current standings the Barrass trade + future pick swap with Carlton can be meshed together to equal:
Pick 14, 35, 54 for Barrass, 4, 22 and 55.
Meaning, from a points perspective, we paid nothing for Barrass and gained the equivalent of (amusingly) Pick 14 in value. Fun.
Carlton will likely improve but if they do finish bottom 6 this will be an all-time trade by us and a significant blunder by West Coast.
Holy sh1t, that post is brutal... but the brutality lies in your not exaggerating anything - it's all trueThere is so much more heartbreak on the way for Carlton.
When a bog average player like Kemp kicks 5 it gives them hope that they've unearthed a decent replacement for either Curnow or Mackay when they're injured or out of the side - but there is every chance that Kemp played the best game he'll ever play last night.
Vossy's presser was hilarious. He kept smiling throughout - he's in that mode where the disaster is so big he feels like he's watching it rather than causing it. Things are going to get a lot worse for them I think

Only real downer is how soft their draw is.
They get Essendon, North, and West Coast twice, play Saints away at G rather than Marvel, play Suns in Melbourne, etc etc. Also they have North and West Coast twice before June.
The way they are playing Blues might end bottom 3.Based on current standings the Barrass trade + future pick swap with Carlton can be meshed together to equal:

I doubt the blues will stay down where they
They're actually...not that bad. I think will win their fair share and could nudge the eight by the end of the year, though their 0-3 start might mean a 9th or 10th...they haven't got it in them to do a Hawthorn,..
Their brute crash bash contested gameplay must take it out of them. Will they improve as the year goes on, or will they fatigue even more? Let's hope they crash and burn...
We know they’re coming….
Apparently we've had a soft draw! The Eagles are such a tinpot organisation — that thread is hilarious.
WCE death ride board keep complaining that carlton have had a terrible run with injuries while we haven't... we've got 5 guys out who would make it into our final 22 (Lewis, dear, cmac, scrim, Worpel)
It's not unfair. Lot of garbage teams. Think we will see a few teams: Hawks, Lions, GWS just dominate the comp.Apparently we've had a soft draw!
Because naturally every team wants to start their season playing Sydney at the SCG
I've read some pretty far out threads on Bigfooty over the years but that one is right up there.
Blues and Dons aren't garbage, more mediocre. It's not unfair. Lot of garbage teams. Think we will see a few teams: Hawks, Lions, GWS just dominate the comp.
Carlton, bombers, eagles, Richmond, saints, North, Melbourne all garbage. Maybe throw freo in there. But I reckon they come good
Best thing about the blues is that this playing style is just going to get worse and worse as the year goes on. You can’t play this high pressure sustainably, which they are already aren’t given how they are getting blown away in second halves.
Injuries will stack up and they have no depth. Also this many close defeats will take a toll on their mentality as well, psychologically they will break down.
I don't think its fair to blame an entire club for a few salty fans on BigFooty. The Eagles are such a tinpot organisation — that thread is hilarious.
It’s pretty garbage not to at least split the Carlton and Hawthorn picks (to reduce their risk). But, hey, you only need to look at their ex playing list to see what a truly awful organisation they are…I don't think its fair to blame an entire club for a few salty fans on BigFooty.
We didn’t let them split the picks as one from each if I remember correctly. It’s pretty garbage not to at least split the Carlton and Hawthorn picks (to reduce their risk). But, hey, you only need to look at their ex playing list to see what a truly awful organisation they are…
