It's been 14 years since Kojima has made a good game so I'm struggling to get excited by whatever Death Stranding is. That teaser trailer certainly didn't sell me on the concept. Might pick it up for $10 in a sale.

MGS4 is one of my least favourite games. Unnecessary hour long cutscenes, unmemorable boss fights, the whole game is a study in excess and overindulgence. At some point in the production someone should have had the sense to tell Kojima that the entire game is full of terrible ideas. At the very least they could have removed the character who constantly shits himself and the soda guzzling monkey. It's a shame because MGS and MGS3 are two of my favourite games. It boggles the mind that anyone enjoyed MGS4.

Agree with that, but it wasn't Kojima's fault it wasn't finished.

Reckon Sony will give him all the time he needs, don't expect we'll get this game until mid 2020 at least, probably longer.
