wanganeen, no worries about going home son, just the bullshit way he went about it. There is the gentlemans way and then there is the wanganeen way.

How did you feel when Paul Salmon pulled on a Hawk jumper?
Salmon basically asked to be traded due to wanting to be a full time ruckman. I think there was never any animosity there. I think most people at the dons were pretty happy to see fish get his opportunity elsewhere even if it was the hawks!
I never hated any of the 2000 team who got split up due to salary cap issues. Caracella, Heffernan, Hardwick, Blumfield & Jacobs.
Solomon & Johnson later as well. Always happy to see ex-bombers play on in the Essendon 2nds @ Fremantle!
How did you feel when Paul Salmon pulled on a Hawk jumper?
Bout the only guy that left us that I (used to) harbour a grudge against was...um wassisname at Freo, Des something. Mal Micheal is a major twat though.
Other than that, our other high profile defectors, Buckley and Akermanis, I felt no hatred for, and I cant really think of another Lions player that left under a cloud.
Who the hell would want to leave Gods own country to go somewhere else?
The only players I still like are the ones who didn't want to leave but were traded anyway. The others can get ****ed.
You might have worded that a little better, but essentially I agree.you'd have to be a minimum wage plodder or a school kid to seriously begrudge any player who moved teams.
I found it hard to hate Joel Smith and Matthew Lappin when they left the Saints, probably others , but i can't think of them at the moment.
Corey Mckernan, Peter Bell and Wayne Carey.
Not a fan of Daniel Motlop.
