Keep hearing rumours of certain players being approached by certain clubs, it seems a lot of the approaching is being done by saints. Maybe it’s a case of spud clubs going after spud players so no great loss but why aren’t the rfc bods sticking our heads above the parapet and putting out any trade rumours ourselves?
They can have Dow for free ...................

Yeah saints have paddy too. Doesn’t make sense having relatives playing for different teams, that should be our main reason for keeping Dan Rioli. We could have Willie too.

Tbf besides them a relative rule wouldn’t necessarily benefit us as much as others. Imagine the brayshaws, cripps, de konings all on the same team.

Then again imagine both McKays on the same team

My biggest concern is why we didn’t delist Coulthard immediately. He is not even VFL standard yet we haven’t made the call. Colina is another concern even though he doesn’t take up a real list spot seriously how much have we donated this guy to pretend to play AFL.
the clubs inability to make a any decision in a timeframe that seems proactive is laughable at this point. They have had so many chances to make " a strong message" & just "passed" every-time. Meanwhile, a club like Geelong announces 7 delisting's 2 days after losing a heartbreaking PF loss, including 2 blokes who have actually played real games for them.

We are still waiting 5 weeks for them to make a calls on blokes who couldn't even get a game for the bottom placed team during a injury crisis.

You seriously think if there was a net benefit to announcing delistings already the club wouldn't have done so?

You are completely deluded.

We are about to hit the draft ala Gold Coast and GWS when they first started. There would be plenty of argy bargy about who is going where with our 'out's as we speak. A quarter of our list could change this year, no hurry. All players will know soon enough, if they don't already.

He was ranked 555th in the AFL out of 658 players total and ranked below Cumberland and Tylar Young. He was abysmal and needs to retire. He played one good quarter in the VFL before Caleb Daniels took him apart in the midfield. He offers absolutely nothing to the team as results and his personal performances indicate. We have enough experience on the park still, but lack quality. If we had 10experienced players that we are losing playing this year then how is it possible we performed abysmally and the worst ever in our history? Experience is all irrelevant and our 2010 is the evidence as we had fxxk all experience and improved dramatically throughout the season. It's about quality players who can play the game and not quantity of games a player has played . You've got the standing still logic and are watching everyone running passed us.
Football is a business and you need results to progress and remain profitable as that's what gets quality people in the FD , Admin and importantly players. RESULTS like this year with 17 senior players on the list are damaging to the club financially and fans need life and to be shown the club is moving otherwise they will not buy in to going and even cancelling memberships. Put on your Reeboks and start running into 2025 Mr Nice Guy bc if you stand still you will come last.

God bless you TI
Never miss an opportunity

What don’t people understand?? We are leaving a few players in limbo (Dow, Cumbo, Coulthard and McIntosh) prior to the trade period and draft period as:

A) we maybe be after similar players to trade in (ie Konstanty in, Coulthard delisted etc)
B) Seeing how many list spots we need for the draft
C) Can’t predict the future what picks may be combined to get better deals etc
D) Once trade period is finished we will have an idea of how many picks we will take/trade and then can make a decision at the time.

I would understand all of that if Coulthard was a line ball call but Coulthard should’ve been delisted day 1. He’s not even VFL level. The other 3 maybe but even then I’d rather take my changes with picks in the 30s/40s in this draft.

Anyone seen the club's 2025 calendar? The only one of the group of 4 (Rioli, Bolton, Baker, Graham) that's on the calendar is Bolton. Make of it what you will.

I found it far more interesting that another of the players chosen for the calendar is...Thomson Dow. Interesting choice.
