Bloody oath, I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.We really are going to be insufferable campaigners if we ever get good
After watching Richmond fans handle success like a 13 year old handles his first binge, I'd say we'll have earned the right. We really are going to be insufferable campaigners if we ever get good
21 years of pent up frustration. We really are going to be insufferable campaigners if we ever get good
Don’t know if this is the right place, but what a butchery of a season preview
Lewis can’t even name anyone on the team aside from Parish, Robbo struggles to string two words together, and Riewoldt I don’t think even had an opinion other then asking questions. Wtf.
It's overcompensation for being known as an Essendon person. Same as LloydWas not their best work. Robo is one of the more grumpy Dons supporters going around. Has rarely said anything positive about us in the last 10 years. In saying that there has not been a lot of positive stuff to write about.

RoCo does it too sometimes but cops it big time on twitter whenever he says anything slightly positive or in favour of us.It's overcompensation for being known as an Essendon person. Same as Lloyd
horne wouldn’t get a game at Carlton….
Very bias post coming up.
Just watched the demons closely in their warm up.
Some great players but don’t see anywhere near the amount of superstars like us 5 years or so ago.
Anyway. Howe out there warming up for us so looks like the sub.
Easy target after tonight's win I know, but this was from a Hawkes supporter.Embarrassing. Let the entire competition down. Receiving lots of texts from mates about WTF just happened…..letting the scum win from behind
The team crumbled after Newc ran out of puff and could no longer carry the midfield.
On the bright side, Essendon is a rabble club with a terrible coach and that shits long term.
We are rebuilding and we will occasionally roll out a big bag of poo onto the field like we did tonight, but we are getting the big picture stuff right and will be better for it in the end.
Think we owe EFC a little respect - that was basically a Final for them , and we all know how long it has been since they have won a Final.
All scum supporters will now be looking through the fixture, adding up the wins, trying to work out if they can scrape into the 8 somehow (albeit delusional)…..enjoy bummer boys.
We played poorly in all aspects but I for one am realistic in that we will have a year or two of pain.
Looking forward to next week already when we take on the Mighty Dusty Tiggers
And this one is my favourite:Haven’t been as disappointed since I don’t know when…. They (Essendon) are shit. Dead set shit. Were there to put to the sword all night… yet we allowed them to stay in it long enough to believe they actually might win. At which stage we just curled the toes up.
One of the few times I’ve felt embarrassed by our performance.
Don't worry, we hate you too.A list of incoherent thoughts.
• I despise the cheating Scum and the deliriously drunk media cheerleading that has propelled their failures for 20 years.
• Tiredness. Tough draw has really taken it out of us.
• Injuries. McEvoy, CJ, Lewis. Have we missed a player more than we miss McEvoy in recent memory? Day, Bramble and Impey obviously rusty, Impey and Gunston potentially not the same players?
• Lack of depth. Thanks in no small part to the 2016 end-of-season trades. Giving up two first round picks was a putrid idea then, and looks even worse now.
• Poor attitude from senior players. Also explains the nature of our finals exits in 2016 and 2018. No-one stood up.
• Poor selection. Our refusal to play an adequately-sized defender will always be a problem if your midfield rolls over, like ours so frequently does.
• Umpiring. While it did not decide the final result tonight or against Sydney, it changed the tide of all of our three most recent games at important points. If the games were umpired fairly, the final results look very different.
• Goal kicking. If you're a professional footballer who kicks goals for a living, do some actual practice, learn to kick straight or GTFO. Seriously WTF.
Ultimately, there is no excuse for the nature of the losses against two of our most hated opponents in the last three weeks.
Losses, you can learn from, particularly the younger players.
But blowouts are embarrassing, demoralising, and make us think they just don't give a shit.
I don’t think they’re delusional but it is pretty funny glad it’s not us this weekAnd this one is my favourite:
Don't worry, we hate you too.
Tough draw? We've played the top 3 and a side likely to play top 4, and two sides on the fringe of the 8. That's what a tough draw looks like.
Injuries? Okay so you have 3 players out with injury. We had Langford, Snelling, Cox, Ridley, Stewart, Durham, Jones, Stringer, Kelly, Guelfi and Walla from our top 25.
Yes, your list is shit.
Yes, your senior players are shit
You do not have a tall defender to pick ahead of Frost. Goes back to the "your list is shit" stuff
If the game was umpired fairly you would have lost by 50 points instead of 27
Yeah, fair call. Your list is shit.
I don’t think they’re delusional but it is pretty funny glad it’s not us this week
Player A is Petracca, player B is Martin. I wonder why Martin isn't considered AA at this pointOk guys let’s compare these 2 players stats:
Player A is averaging 30.3 disposals, 1 goal and 9.2 score involvements a game
Player B is averaging 21.3 disposals, 2 goals, 9 score involvements a game
Player A is a lock for AA and Player B apparently isn’t even in the discussion. Which player would you prefer?
Hint. Player A is from the Dees and Player B is from the Tigers. Let’s see if you guys can guess who they are and should Player B be considered for AA selection, if not why not?
None of your first post at least seems delusional at the moment
