Not sure you will find 5 pages of crap from Carlton supporters up in arms at the prospect.
These things always run the same way.
Former club supporters: Disloyal traitor being pinched by an arrogant club. Would love to see them both screwed over.
Intended club supporters: Rubbish, your club stuffed up, you're just jealous, let the poor bloke further his career.
You could just cut and paste it for every player that leaves a club I reckon.
