Does anyone know how serious their injuries are?

Should I get rid or them or should I use emergencies til they come back?

yeah dunno what to do with dew... because i've got tippett (injury? not that bad?) and rioli on the bench
thinking about doing dew->hill
lynch(tried to be different did not pay off) -> bj

i have these two as well. depending on what might be revealed about their injuries through the week i am likely to keep Dew but trade Dempsey.

Dew was looking very good value and 4 weeks really isnt that long. like many i have Rioli and Tippet on the bench so Rioli is a very good option to cover for that time.

with Dempsey it depends who your other mids are but i'm also carrying Coughlan and figure there are some better options than Dempsey anyway like Tuck, Jack, Geary etc.

i think that you will find that dempsy is more like 5-6 weeks as the club will most likely want him to fully recover, they wont want him to come back early and injure it again.

Yeah Dew is said to be 2-3 weeks away, maybe a better long term prospect. He'll only get fitter/trimmer and better as the year goes on in a side who will dominate this year. I'd keep him if your side has the depth.

I have the same two players.
Luckily I have some depth in Geary & Palmer on the bench to swap with Dempsey.
I will however consider trading him out once teams have all been announced.
Dew I will swap with Rioli and have Tippet as my emergency (Lets hope none of thems core 0)..

I will probably hold onto my entire team despite some bad performers speciall in my backline
Chad Cornes, kennelly, Nicoski all had shockers.
But I still made around 1850 so despite some poor performers and the two injured players (Dew & Dempsey) so overall its not a bad score. I just hope Dews back to his best in a couple of rounds.

Just remember if you are looking at trading this early, please wait....
Wait for the etams to be announced and when injuries are well known rather than trading this early and getting someone whos not playing this week or trading soemone out who might not be out as long as you thought.

Article in The Age says Dempsey has only 'strained' a hamstring therefore it will be a 2-3 week injury. Decent back up on the bench will cater for that. It would be stupid trading him out.

Meh, Dempsey is a cash cow. If he's out for a month, he can sit on the bench and then acrue value when he comes back.

I mean, you don't want all your cash cows maxing out at the same time, you can't make that many trades in one round...

So yeah, if you've got a bench that is playing, you would be stupid to trade him out.

To trade dew or not to trade dew...that is the question. There is some value under 105g that will build up...but dew could be worth well in excess of 250g in just 1 more match. Dont think i can wait until round 8....especially since he will probably come back through reserves.

For christs sake, the guy couldnt wait another round...even if he scored 1 next round his price wouldve gone up.

im goin dew out and hill in this week its my first trade and the only one this week...that will free up alot of space. even if dew comes back in 4-6 weeks he wont be played alot straight up so there is no repeat of the injury...if u desperatly want to trade back for dew hills price should be past 162k anyway by that stage so u will make a small amount of money.
