Roman Squire in the last.

Very confident of this one @ good odds :thumbsu:
Another that I have followed for a long long time. Was on him when he was dominating up in QLD. Been on him every time since hes been in Melbourne, he just hasn't fired though... Barrier 14 will make it hard for him, he is a massive horse I just can't see him firing though.

Generally dont bet much (poor uni student) but I like to have a go at the big races, the group 1 every now and then. This is the one week I generally have a genuine go.
Though I feel cheated today (kicking myself more like it), was going to back Kibbutz but held off, had a feeling it was going to win. I got caught up in the Marching hype (ohwell he came 3rd)

Nearly backed Haradasun (just so tempting), I am so glad I didnt now. Devil Moon a little let down and Nikolic should be flogging with the ride he gave Zipping!

Also thank you to Weekend Hussler (a no brainer really). Scared me at one stage though, thought he was going to get stuck!

Onto Melbourne Cup now, Purple Moon, Princess Coup and Master O'Reilly looking good. Not so sure about Zipping and Gallic now, shit barriers.

I'll be holding you to this.

I think you would agree he was knackered.

Was very similar to last years Derby Day for me..got the first couple of winners then only managed a short priced winner later in the day so did no damage.

Had grandstand seats this year, well worth the extra $30.

The Sirmione result did my head in, he is either a dud who got lucky racing against a lot of tired horses or old Bart had not bothered givign it a training gallop before last week.

Thought the track played fairly well and gave all a chance.
