Age structure, key position depth and under 22 talent were a mess. We have struggled to find quality players through the draft that arent F/S or academy picks for a long time.

I get what you mean but we literally addressed all 3 of those issues this off season. Acquired 2 A grade mid/late 20s players, Membrey as a KPF back up and took 2 KPP in the draft as 18yos. We need to invest in youth clearly but while we're in the window we have to have a crack at a flag again so the balance is delicate

Seems a clear case of the recruiting team not wanting to slave their guts out all year and then have no draft picks to validate their efforts.
The coaching staff are structuring the list not the recruiters, so I think it could be the other way around

It’s a damn shame Lukosious just signed a long term deal with Port. We could have nabbed him for 13 first rounders and Darcy Moore!**** at this rate we might be asking if Knightmare can be our recruiter
