I prefer Stingrays for the nickname and using the GC17 website colours for the design.
Orange would be Home, and White Away

(*Sigh*)...Why are you so good?
The only problem is it is a stingray, should be a marlin.

Great looking jumpers but reckon it'll be a lighter orange and blue. Stingrays is a lot better then marlins

The idea was to use the shape there that sort of has a stingray tail on the back.
Marlins would be a completely different design, I would think

i like it. but as said a while ago, the logo suits mascots more. plus im still not for this shadow idea.

Too similar to Melbourne - the Gold Coast jumper should not be similar to any of the existing 16 clubs!

i think its right now.
but i think its more suited as a clash/away strip. if it had black instead of blue it'd be a good clash jumper for Crow28's design. and if it had light blue in it it'd be a good clash jumper for mr. eagles design.

btw where'd you get your inspiration for those bits on the side?

Not bad at all. Bulls being an apt name as Bull Sharks are supposedly as far as 60km up the Brisbane river?

yeah, there are Bull Sharks everywhere up there, thought it an apt name whilst still keeping the Shark image which is a strong one

Bulls, Bull Sharks, very clever way of associating the most marketable nickname in Sharks whilst avoiding clashes with existing 'Sharks' clubs. Bit late, seems Marlins is home and hosed, but I prefer Bulls to Marlins.
