Diablo 2: Resurrected launches tomorrow (September 23 2021).

D2 is hands down my favourite game of all time. I've continued to play it every year since its release (although more recently on mods).

It will be released on PC, PS5, Xbox and Switch.

Anyone up for a game or interested in putting a BigFooty guild together?

I've already purchased and preloaded on PS5 and will most likely grab on PC as well.

It unlocked on Switch and allows you to watch the opening cinematic, adjust screen size etc, then you get the Can't Connect messages.

Then I had a cry and sent Nintendo a Karen letter demanding a refund. I know my rights*.

*may not actually know my rights

Can't decide between Switch and PC. I have a baby to look after so having it on portable is appealing. And there's some builds that I've never played on mouse and keyword because they require switching between multiple skills - these might be well suited to controller.

But... PC will definitely be the best experience. Tough decision.

So... Stayed up until 1am, played 45 minutes and got to level 5, saved and quit. Noticed on menu screen it said level 1 character. Wouldn't let me log in, close game and reopen and character gone. Rip.

You can play solo/friends only. Saw that option when I was first setting up last night. That's even with online mode selected which is needed for cross save.

Going to purchase it on PC today and make sure my PSN and Battlenet are linked to test out cross save and will report back. Will be cool if I can seemlessly play with friends on PS then jump on PC with the same character. Might even try Xbox too.

I was in TristRun6 when the servers went down (the other 7 players were Sorcs). Lost a heap of levels and couldn’t get back on.

Just starting out Act 2 - Fire Druid sitting at Lvl 16.

Barring a couple of minor graphical glitches, the console version is pretty excellent - exactly what you want from a remaster. Loving the more deliberate style after all the running and gunning of D3 seasons.

I'm up to the sewer in Act 2 and playing a paladin. I forgot how hard this was at times!

yeah got two necromancer characters, one exclusively with mates, one for general, hitting some tough enemys can ****ing wreck you

Mouse and KB or controller? I'm on the fence but no longer have a PC for gaming. Considering it for my xbox
