Very big indeed, If i preorder i usually go to JB rather then GAME or EB.

I assume all the people who have preordered with them get there money back? I assume these people will still be able to pick up a copy at EB or something as im sure they wont sell out straight away?....will they?

I'm pretty sure i have already heard whispers that EB are trying to get more Diablo stock for stores that have a GAME in the same location

Glad I digitally download my copy (hope the internet doesn't break tomorrow morning as I start the pre-launch download).

***** REMEMBER *****

SERVERS go online around 5:00pm (Aus East), 4:30PM (Aus Central), and 3:00pm (Aus West).

* don't get bitchy if you can't play before then. :thumbsu:

How much can you group up in this game? Not like an MMO is it, a lot more single player style? Also what happens when you get to max level? Much to do? PVP?

Never tried Diablo and seeing a few videos I'm not sure I'll be able to handle the isometric camera view or click to move gameplay but I MAY give it a go given it's popularity here on BF.

Not like an MMO at all. Definitely more single style... you can either take the game on by yourself or with up to 4 players (the game scales according to how many players are in your group).

HEAPS of replay value at MAX level... all the levels/zones and monsters are randomly generated... meaning you can re-run each zone without it ever being exactly the same. You normally do this often later in the game as you're trying to find better magical items that randomly drop off monsters. It is virtually like a poker machine built inside a computer game. You might replay the same zone multiple times (but remember their randomised) in order to find certain items (or make in game gold to buy items).

There are 4 difficulty levels to keep it challenging... Inferno being the toughest which is only available at MAX level.

Then their is PvP where you can fight others either 1v1 or up to 4v4.

It certainly takes a bit of getting used to with the view and controls... but it quickly becomes 2nd nature and blizzard are always pretty good with their interface/controls that allow players to easily get into their games.

HTH

can't wait. The boys are getting together for a day of digital demon killing this Saturday.

I'm thinking of being a Monk

You can finish it solo if you want, or roll with up to three others. The game difficulty scales depending on the group size.

Should we get a new thread with battle.net ID's or something? or maybe the OP can update them in the first post?

edit: just saw it lol

Yep, chuck your ID's in that thread and myself or Kaysee will keep the thread updated:

BattleNet - BattleTags and D3 players Thread

Better than losing them in the rush of posts that's sure to come.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I'm a Barbarian so go **** yourselvessss

:)

This.

Play whichever class appeals to you the most. Barbarians are going to be ****ing popular but that shouldn't stop you from playing one. Most people will have multiple characters going anyway.

Pretty sure I'm going to start out as wizard for my first solo play through but I also want to use a wizard for grouping with mates. I can't see us levelling at the same rate, so I may end up with two wizards. With all games with classes I always have a class in mind, play it for a bit, see the other classes and change to something different anyway.

I'm starting a new TAFE course this week. First class is May15th at 5PM. What have I done to myself?

Probably saved yourself from a couple of hours or "You are unable to connect to battle.net at this time, please try again later":)

JB cos they're open till 9 so I can get it on my way home from work.

Sending the good lady wife to collect my Pre order while I'm at work tomorrow

If only I could teach her how to install it for me :p

Nice. What are the chances of the game being sold out?

I would highly doubt it, i'd say most people would have pre-ordered and as long as your there early enough should easily get a copy. I remember once though I tried getting GTA:SA on release and they hadn't even stacked it on the shelves, maybe thats just cos my local store is shit. Good luck anyway!

At Big W you'd want to get in early, they usually don't hold much stock.

Depends how many they get but most fans have been waiting for years and would of preordered cant see this being a big walk up game especially since its pc only
