I hate "propriety blends" - you don't know whether the ingredients are at the right dosages (if they even work at all). And damn ATP Alpha Mars is expensive! Weight of evidence still points to caffeine as the best "fat burning" supplement. Like saj_21 said, not really needed. Unless you legitimately feel better on it. Placebo effect mentioned by Aeglos is surprisingly effective lol. Humans are weird.

Yep, placebo and nocebo almost the 2 most powerful things in the world lol

Few blokes at work have started using SARMS, not sure what the go is with it exactly, info online is pretty mixed

They're legit
Only thing is the clinical trials were done with about 10% the dosage of what you or I would be taking so they're a little bit of an unknown in that regard, and because of what they are/do you wouldn't be expecting a massive different

Leucine is the only powerful ingredient in BCAA the rest is just window dressing
Aren't the other aminos (iseleucine and valene) required for leucine absorbsion though?

Not quite in the ratios most commercial products are sold though (2:1:1, quiet a few tend to mix their own 4:1:1 batches).

In any case I do tend to use examine a bit, some small benefits here although I can't isolate the difference between fastest state exercise (when I tend to work out) as opposed to later in the day workouts.

Just placed a fresh myprotein order (UK/US version of bulknutrients)

Decided to upgrade to creapure creatine over the chinese shit, it's not that much more expensive and should be worth it.

Just curious. How come you didn't go through bulk nutrients?

After some weightloss supplements or a meal replacement shake. I am eating well, exercise is the hardest bit, I work long ass hours, have a young family. It is very difficult. I try to do at least 1 hour a day of walking or slow jog. Any products you guys can suggest would be great.

Weight loss products are a waste of money, well the supps of the legal variety. Just eat less food. Do you struggle to find time to prep meals? That is only reason I'd suggest buying meal replacement drinks. Even then you'd be better off spending your money on those companies that make macro friendly and accurate meals. Like - muscle meals direct, ect.

+ drink more water. In some cases hunger is partly dehydration.

Ever since I've gone into full time work and then taking on further commitments I have struggled to get into a solid eating routine to lean down...

Used to consume around 3-4 big meals consisting of
6-8 eggs and 4 pieces of toast with a big bowl of strawberries of apples
500grams of potato with 400grams of chicken with some sort of large salad on the side
100grams of oats with 2 scoops of protein and a table spoon of peanut butter
usually would have another potato/chicken meal..

With the lifestyle change and limited time to eat during the day I usually fast till 2-4pm which I enjoy. I have an enormous appetite (as in 10000 calories can be consumed without batting an eyelid). I don't know whether I have lost that passion for fitness and training lifestyle but when my eating isn't on point I don't enjoy training. I cannot stick to whatever structure I put in place at the moment nothing seems to stick!

What are some of the things that have helped you stick to your regimented lifestyles?

A plan, if I haven't planned it out I just won't stick to it
Will power
And most important is the 'want' to really reach the goal in that plan.

I also had to break it down a bit
Eg...Instead of changing six things all at once, I would change 2 at a time.....

Getting organised is the key....I work full time convienant it's an office job but I'm out of the office and on site quite often. I cook 3 days of meals on a Sunday and then another 3 days of meals on Wednesday.

If you aren't a fussy eater and can put up with eating similar meals day in day out it's not to hard.

Buy foods that are easy to divide up equally, say you need 600g of chicken spread over 3 meals in a day. Then buy a 600g packet of chicken breast, no meauring required. Also microwave packets of rice make life quick and easy too. Handful of frozen cut up veggies. 3 meals done in 15 mins
