Did everyone else get this?

I love that I got the coach's thoughts on the game direct to my inbox. I love the honesty, and I love the fact that our club is taking the communication to members to a new level. Especially for us interstaters, it makes a huge difference to how connected we feel to the club. Much kudos to the people running the communications (I assume I'm looking at you Stig)

There's been no hiding my disappointment that we lost a game I felt we'd put ourselves in a position to win.

Then, in the third quarter, we produced some really good football, to well and truly seize the initiative from Carlton.

Look, there were some promising signs that we took out of the game, but we've still got a fair way to go. I rate Carlton as a top-six to top-four side, so at least we showed we're capable of matching it with the "big boys" of the competition, when we get our game up and running.

I thought the young blokes who made their AFL debuts with us – Reece Conca, Jake Batchelor and Brad Helbig – all showed something. And, our recruits from league clubs – Shaun Grigg and Bachar Houli – were also quite impressive in their first games for the Tigers.

Mind you, we still have the same problem of needing to find more avenues to goal . . . Mitch Morton was okay at stages up forward, as was Ty Vickery. We've also got some players coming back from injury, who we feel can fill the role for us in attack, but we've just got to remain patient for the time being . . .

Relax... most of the content is exactly the same as from various interviews etc. after Thursday's game.

I expect it was cobbled together on his behalf by someone in the Tigers Media/Marketing department.

I understand that the modern fan feels a need to be spoon-fed by the club....I don't. You may be right re the 'cobbling' but if that was the case let Benny or someone else put their moniker to it. Dimma should not be distracted from the task at hand nor should he be allowed to begin 'spinning' losses.

Too intimate for my liking. Do a press conference at games end and that's it. At the end of the day the only salve for 30 years of mediocrity is finals and flags. Words.....pffft.....we have heard it all before...over and over again.

Me too.
I have bought a interstate membership & also social membership as part of the Buy-a-Brick promotion and recieve all the e-mails (Im getting something most days from RFC... Loving it!!) but didnt get Dimmas thoughts.
An e-mail after next game would be fantastic
or better a phone call from Dimma.....
