Whoa! Fair suck of the sav! William's pillow, wherever it is, must surely be the baseline for all forensic pathology in this case, in terms of scent and DNA. How could it possibly be irrelevant?

We don't know which pillow William used or even that he used one. We only have the testimony of the fosters.
If a pillow (or anything) with William's DNA were to be found it might be relevant, but it hasn't. Even if something was found, unless it could also be proven to have been at the house on the day of William's disappearance it proves nothing. And without knowing who removed the pillow from the house it proves nothing. It's just a wild goose (down) chase.

Have you heard the FM 000 call? What did you make of it with your RN background?
As a nurse you see so many personalities. I waver sometimes I listen and think she is trying to give as much info to the point of coldness. Then I listen again and she sounds in total panic shock. I as a nurse would not skip over questions while taking history. Questions about shoes clothing in a child especially. I as a nurse would have asked questions again.

....If William was seriously hurt as falling off a balcony he may not have been dead. He may have been moved and transported. I don’t have access to a lot of information but I have seen how people act in emergencies at times which leaves me open mouthed.
The suggestion is that there is an accident/incident that is intentional/unintentional and William is injured? Then they put a pillow under his head. And then they do not call for help or dial 000 but move him. I don't think many people would act this way in an emergency IMO.
I am wondering if someone was capable of this, what else would they be capable of.

The FGM was actually a nurse in her younger years, so maybe she initially put a pillow under W head, if he fell?

I believe the source was Wendy Hudson's statement, in that she documented visiting at 9 that night to check everyone's well-being, only to be told by FGM the fosters were in bed, not to be disturbed.

FGM stated somewhere she left on day 2, to stay with her niece. Does anyone have a link?

If LT did perchance stay in the same room as the fosters, surely then she would have been a witness to conversations and emotions which were way too big for her.

Why wouldn't U want to be disturbed ? If that was me I would want to know of any updates in regards to William

When you are not used to being exposed to trauma adrenaline is released and you behave outside your normal actions and boundaries. I challenge any one that denies that they would have done anything differently. A senior member of the family had a fall this year and the Daughter and Grandson lifted her up on the bed put a big fluffy pillow under her head and towels to stop the blood from staining them. She passed away two months later. I could back this up with a photo but I am sure that it would not be appropriate.

From Snr Cst Hudson's witness statement, 18 Sep 2014 (in post 397)

MFC: male foster carer
FFC: female foster carer
FFCM: female foster carer's mother

paragraph 12:
"I returned to the command post around 6.45pm and was informed an ambulance had been called for (MFC). I went back into the house and (MFC) appeared upset and walking around agitated. (MFC) said "(blanked)." Ambulance Officer arrived and started to treat (MFC) returned to the command post.

I assisted at the command post with enquires and logistics and returned to the house after 9pm. Only (FFCM) was sitting in the lounge room. (FFCM) stated that (MFC) and (FFC) had gone to bed. I sat for about 15 to 20 minutes and we talked about the hard times that (MFC) and (FFC) [blanked], then about how good it was when they fostered the children. (FFCM) was very proud of them for taking on (Lindsay) and William. I returned to the command post 9-30pm and then left the command post for the day around 10pm."

So where was <Lindsay> at 9 - 10pm?

She wasn’t sitting up with the FFCM.

Where was she?

I wouldn’t have thought the former foster parents of William Tyrrell were capable of stalking / intimidating a child who was in their care, but there you are. Both guilty. (We know of course, that child was not William).

I wouldn’t have thought the foster mother would have been capable of assaulting a child, but she has.

She seemed really nice and caring in her media interviews.

You don’t really know what people are capable of, and neither do I, and that’s the issue I guess.

IMO

So, I can see in the window there is an image of an old man. Just above the blue light. Also, on the right bottom side of the white brick wall, it looks like something has been photoshopped out of the wall. Like something was in front of the brick wall and it’s been taken out.

When would Foster family have been able to see all the walkthrough or statements, and of other witnesses,?
Maybe FGM kept the "skull"reference quiet for a while.
Personally, I don’t think that ‘jumping out of his skull’ statement is anything more than a ‘descriptive saying’ that all generations have
( just the other day I had someone describe the weather as being ‘colder than a stepmother’s kiss’ …. I’m sure there’s many a warm & loving step-mum who could easily take offence at that if so inclined )

In the FGM walk through photos there is only one pillow on the bed. There was chatter about a missing blanket but what about the pillow? You would think William had a pillow. Was it used if there was an accident and it was grabbed to put under his head?
I noticed that too, and it’s bugged me for a long time.

There were discussions over who slept where that night ( even FFGM said in her walk through that she didn’t know).

Thank you! Did she check on her visually?
No idea. But she spent time with her earlier in the day according to her notes, and met her again the next morning. I guess if the police had any concern for her welfare at the time they would have removed her and/or got FACS involved on the scene much earlier. My understanding is that people from FACS did not arrive in Kendall until the Sunday, but FM spoke with FACS on the phone on the Friday.

As I understand the camera was handed to police. Not downloaded images. i expect the police and forensics would have been all over the images. They used forensic specialists to find the time and data. Also the photos we see reproduced are of variable quality so small details are hard to define. So no old man, IMO,

I don't think that ‘jumping out of his skull’ is a thing. Many people have their own figure of speech and maybe FGM said this phrase often, possible. Maybe it's a Kendall thing. Maybe she was worried that he had run away and fallen. I don't think I have ever heard it before meaning either full of energy, or being scared. Quick google this morning gave no results. All that came up was jumping out of your skin meaning being scared, e.g. from online Collins dictionary, (below). Though mentioning "skull" is not evidence of anything.
Maybe just another coincidence.

Collins dictionary: online
jump out of your skin (idiom) in the sense of be scared
He jumped out of his skin when he saw two rats.
Synonyms: be scared, be afraid

So if she was a nurse or had any firs aid training maybe the thing to do is not move an injured person if you thought they had a neck injury, or otherwise put them in a recovery position. Lots of campaigns about first aid, ABC of first aid. I don't think there is a P for pillows.

Who says she moved him? Who says she even saw him? Who says she was even aware of an accident? Who says there was even an accident?

Not that this is necessarily relevant but when we did training for foster caring, a basic first aid course was also required to be completed.
