There are only 18 hours in the narrative. Collected from daycare around 4pm. Gone around 10am the next day. I have never seen showers mentioned in any narrative. Although, I can't see how it would be relevant.
From what I understand the children were picked up from day care and went straight on their trip. If they were dropped off at day care that day sometime they wouldn’t have been showered since that morning (or even the night before.)
I haven’t heard it mentioned in the narrative by FM but I’d be interested to know if it was mentioned and if they did.

Thank you anyway.

I don't recall showers being mentioned anywhere but the FF said William had an accident through the night and had to change his own pull-ups so a shower was probably due.

There were no showers or baths mentioned in any of the FGM, FF or FM statements. In addition: They’ve never mentioned showers or baths in any podcast or media interview or police media interview they have ever done.

I’m assuming William and sister did not have a bath or shower between the daycare day and the next day when William disappeared.

Maybe just like the washing machine, the bath was broken.

I think it might be relevant if it’s not in the narrative. I don’t believe the children wouldn’t be bathed at FGMs.
They don't mention burping, farting, shaving, putting on deodorant, going to the toilet, blowing their nose, coughing, sneezing or scratching their bums. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. I still don't see how this is relevant to William going missing.

Everything they did from the time they got there is relevant IMO.

The FM was keen to do the washing and I noticed the red tights FD was wearing the night before were on the line, why is the shower/bath body washing missing?

If you were tasked with investigating this and this was entirely missing from the night before to the time William went missing, you'd want to know why IMO.

The suspicion being, that William died in the bathtub or the shower and the fosters don't want to draw any attention to that area, so they're leaving it out altogether.

I think it is indicative of the lack of planning, parenting experience and general lack of consideration for the children. They arrived late at night with children probably already asleep. Past FGM bedtime - she wanted to go to bed and not stay up talking to her daughter or the children. So, no showers. Then in the morning FF was too busy worrying about his work meeting. Probably both fosters too caught up in their own stuff to worry about bathing children. Don't know what their 'normal' routine would have been. Probably FM didn't want to make FGM look after one child while she bathed the other? Or maybe FGM wasn't cooperative. Or maybe they planned to bathe the kids when FF returned? Still can't see how any of this is relevant to working out what happened to William. I don't see how it matters whether the kids showered or not.

It’s possible as we know that it was a lack of parenting skills but it’s a red flag when no baths have been mentioned and it’s been at least 24 hours since they had one.
I think FGM would be mentioning baths as well as she’s reared 3 children.
IMO it’s a possible scenario.

What's a possible scenario? An accident in the bath? Relatively common - more common than abductions. But why cover it up? Why not call an ambulance?

Just that it's not there? Nobody mentions anyone having a shower/bath.
Probably there’s a suggestion around appropriate hygiene being provided by the foster parents for William and his sister? IDK?

There’s really no reason to think that a bath or a shower may have been a place for an accident, a drowning or an injury.

There’s absolutely no evidence that would suggest that, and no statements or walk through testimonies that would suggest either child had a bath or shower.

And I mean, if you look at William’s feet in the pictures, you will notice they are very dirty indeed.
