But that’s not the theory they’ve been working on at great expense to the taxpayers.

Police have claimed William died accidentally and FM disposed of his body.

Why the big dig if they actually thought he was handed over?

And if he was handed over does that mean William might still be alive?
Awakening, there’s still hope!

Distraction of what though?

I don't understand what you're asking, but I was wondering if the public activities of the strike force (including the big dig and this apparently useless week at the inquest) might be a front or a scenario? It seems unlikely, but it also seems unlikely that today's witness would be called when he seemed to have nothing relevant to offer.

Is there anything we can identify and speculate regarding that would explain this evidence.? As stands it's useless to totally irrelevant.. I agree the police are playing a game of some sort because without forensics, cadaver nor witness testimony the drive to Cobb & co is worthless. Indeed it more supports FM.

And yet they serious had a throw at the stumps because of Cobb & co.. we are not getting the true evidence. Why?
The police are not calling the shots. The coroner is directing proceedings, deciding which evidence to consider and which witnesses to call. The police have made their submissions. The coroner will sift through the evidence SHE considers relevant (with assistance from Craddock) and then make a finding (or not).
There may be evidence buried in police documents which is never considered. She will decide whether she agrees the police theory is right on the balance of probability, compared with other theories and scenarios.
It's a mystery why she has decided to hear certain evidence and not other evidence. But that's her call. Police can't tell her what to do.

It seems to me that she is readying herself to an open finding

No forensics
No cadaver
No witness
No body

Therefore no case to answer..she wants the evidence not a narrative.. There will be no police charges if the coroner finds unknown individuals responsible.

Massive disappointment

Make no mistake this is a massive rebuke to SFR

I’m probably on the wrong track but I wondered if there was anything in the Coroner not wanting to hear from the expert about dogs taking bones, etc although acknowledged they are in the bush, because she doesn’t think this has happened.

More than likely, it's because it's common knowledge and not something you want discussed in front of the people who cared for WT.

The Coroner's probably across what can happen to bodies in the bush if dogs and pigs are in the area. At three years old, he'd be about all gone IMO.

There was very little to find of Daniel Morcombe years later after he was left near the surface, just a few scattered bones including only one rib, out of over 200 bones in the human body.

We can only hope for a resolution here. I can imagine Daniel’s parents were initially disheartened after their son’s inquest, and then they fortunately got a resolution, and then due to some incredible detective work, their son was able to come home.

The CC would have asked very tough questions. The female and male carers might have been let off on some issues technicalities.
This time the DC Can listen subjectively and the rest of the inquest might put information into a different perspective.
Could that happen can you help me with this?

So it looks like a holiday at Christmas on an exotic location looking over a Netflix contract.
There are a lot of countries that will not allow criminals to obtain entry Visa’s.

I know GJ was lamenting on ICK Podcast that he couldn’t get into the USA due to his criminal record.

Yes, that could happen.

The FF and FM were each charged with lying to the CC but neither were found guilty of lying to the CC. I’ve never really heard how their interviews went.

I’m looking forward to reading about it in tomorrow’s news.

The Morcombes were guest speakers at one of my sexual assault awareness events.
Beautiful and strong and selflessness people.
Don’t know where they found their strength, working tiredesly for children and parents promoting child protection
