I don't understand what you're asking, but I was wondering if the public activities of the strike force (including the big dig and this apparently useless week at the inquest) might be a front or a scenario? It seems unlikely, but it also seems unlikely that today's witness would be called when he seemed to have nothing relevant to offer.
Depending on what time Peter was there and didn’t see the Fgm car - if the times match it suggests to me that the FM wasn’t there at that time

Well I wasn’t expecting this from the truckie and it gives credence to Ron’s story.

In no way could the FM be described as an overweight blonde woman. She’s always appeared very lean.

So was anyone else at FGMs house? We’ve never heard anything about FM’s siblings.

And round and round we go and still no William.

What an absolute balls up.

My hope sunk when I saw this reported earlier today as I had high hopes that the Truckie appearing was the one who FM saw on her drive to the riding school.

But No, it’s old news - someone we heard about much earlier, although it appears he saw this blonde woman & her black car on more than one occasion that day a he went about business in Kendall, and Kew with a pick up in Batar Creek Road.

He did mention seeing other cars, but they didn’t meet description of FGM’s car.

And he gave no times for any of his sightings as far as I’m aware.

I wonder if FM slipped in the bit about ‘waving to truck driver’ as she saw the truck and was concerned she may’ve been seen.

My mind then went back to Ron Chapman’s story - but he had a blue coloured sedan as the 2nd car, and it was driven by a Man. No mention of a Black car, but I guess there could have been a car swap.

It was travelling behind a fawn older model 4WD, which was driven by a fair haired woman, with a Spider-Man dressed unrestrained child in the back seat.

I agree, this is all such a mess.

And he gave no times for any of his sightings as far as I’m aware.
There would likely be a whole lot more info about the times, that the Coronial Inquest has, in his official Police Statement.

Maybe the this Friday night or subsequent Dan Box Inquest weekly podcast or related news.com.au articles will go more into any as yet unreported details of the truckie timelines from what was said today at the inquest by either the truckie, the Coroner, or any legal that cross-examined the truckie who would have had access to his Police Statement prior to today.

The cars with RC were if a recall a white old style box LandCruiser and a blue Camry with heavy tinting.

I don't see the connection there..a also don't see a connection to FM tbh.

They must link it somehow. Eludes me
I’ve seen every description of the 4WD from white / gold / brown / fawn, with mention it being an older Box shaped Land Cruiser.
The 2nd car was reported to be blue / iridescent blue / light Blue - but it was said to be a Sedan.

The reporting is absolutely appalling. These people should be ashamed of the mediocre way they do their job.

What is it they say about ‘Believe None of what you Hear, and only Half of what you See’. …

The closed court would not be new evidence would it? Can any one help?
I’d like to hear what L might have said, particularly in the 2022 interview.

My heart breaks for her and what she’s been through. I really hope she’s being well cared for and is getting vital love and support.

I wonder what every police force around the world following this thinks of us?
Poor reporting why hasn’t ANYONE pushed for the time?
Did he say he picked up the excavator from BCR? How come the FM did not see him do that?
One report I read said he picked it up in Cobb & Co Road. And no time mentioned. Although I think he said on radio tgat he left Kendall with his load around 11.30 - 12.

Who knows what’s true.

I should hope not.

I would say it’s the sister. The smoking gun.

Didn’t the police say they were acting on specific information? Not speculative at all…

That’s what they said leading into the big search.
Yes, imo that’s what they said.

And I can’t get out of my head the police spokesperson saying at the end of the last session ( COVID time) that a New Witness had come forward.
What did that person ‘witness’ ?
Why aren’t we hearing from them ?
I can’t help but wonder how much is just smoke & mirrors!

Has anyone heard who’s on the appearance List for tomorrow?

Could be. There might be a hidden informant somewhere.

Her brothers and sister have been laying real low. The sister was there the next day then .. nothing. It seems.
I don’t know why I get the feeling that the not relationship between FM and her siblings is not a close one…possibly not even too civil.

I’m wondering now if the Sister actually came to ‘rescue’ FGM from the trauma of what was going on at her home.

The reported inquest Agenda for tomorrow (Thursday) is (or includes) the FM's NSW CC "grilling" (four hours of it).

'A four-hour grilling of the foster mother before the NSW Crime Commission will be played on Thursday before the inquest comes to a close.'
Comes to a close ? What?

What a waste of time this has been !

The police are not calling the shots. The coroner is directing proceedings, deciding which evidence to consider and which witnesses to call. The police have made their submissions. The coroner will sift through the evidence SHE considers relevant (with assistance from Craddock) and then make a finding (or not).
There may be evidence buried in police documents which is never considered. She will decide whether she agrees the police theory is right on the balance of probability, compared with other theories and scenarios.
It's a mystery why she has decided to hear certain evidence and not other evidence. But that's her call. Police can't tell her what to do.
Does she have to submit her findings to her Boss for checking prior to final decisions being made ?

Just wondering what’s her line of accountability.
