No

Finding Foster Grandfather drop sheet fibres in Foster Grandfather car seems to have no relevance without WT DNA
Agree. Drop sheets are pretty common, and I would guess they didn't take samples of the dropsheets in 2014 to compare them anyway. Even finding William's DNA in the car would not be silver bullet - he may have travelled in it on another occasion. Blood in the boot would be a different story, but they clearly don't have this or there would be charges laid by now.

To cover what?

It was absolutely too far, but nothing she did was particularly rational.
No idea. That she took him in the other direction? But you are right, maybe she just wasnt thinking straight. I know I would have lost my mind if my child went missing. You do do silly things. For example, when my daughter had a hot cup of tea spilt on her arm at a restaurant, i was standing behind her, but instead of just stepping to the left of her to help, I ran all the way around the table to get to her left! Why? I dont know, I was hysterical and not thinking straight! Then to top it off, instead of just running cold water on the burn, we sat her in the big kitchen sink with cold water until the ambulance came and nearly gave her hypothermia!! But Ambo's did say if it wasnt for what we did she would have had full third degree burns, not just borderline 3rd degree burns. then when we left the hospital in the wee hours of the morning, we realized we had left the car at the restaurant!!

Wouldn’t that be something.

Was the car confiscated before that Nov 10-11 Crime Commission hearings ?

I read somewhere, when we were all aghast the FGM vehicle didn't appear to have been forensically examined before it was seized the last time and the cops said it had.

How thorough they were, who knows.

It's rare that people remain normal in a panic situation. I find it odd that people sit at a computer and judge a person's behaviour by what they think they would do, based on no pressure at all.

Greg Lynn and Mr. Cruel are freaks. Most genuine criminals can't do that, let alone normal people.

Surely, I'd think if an abduction was on anybody's mind the cops would have in the least dusted both cars for prints on the off chance someone with a record had been sneaking around through the night, run a vacuum over the interiors and bag whatever gets sucked up.

IF she did that (or similiar type spot) there would have been absolutely no time to hide the body. She would have had scratches everywhere and torn clothing if she went into the actual bush. She certainly couldn't have buried him.

All the locals know what has happened and so does 90% of the rest of Australia. Anyone driving a 4-wheel drive down there, or walking a dog etc. would have one eye out for suspicious signs IMO.

It actually wouldn't be that difficult for police to search every track within a 20 minute radius with 4-wheel drives. Especially with assistance from the SES. Would be time consuming, but doable.

He would have been found IMO.
Exactly. If he was nearby he would have been found. But he wasn't, so he was outside the initial search area.
But the spot the FM admits to driving to on BCR was so far away it was well outside the initial search area.
She could also have driven a bit further up BCR or Cobb&Co than she said. A couple of minutes, a couple more km.

I am still seeking confirmation about the command post being manned throughout the night William disappeared, and note from Wendy Hudson's notes that FF was alone and absent from the FGM house at 6am Saturday morning.

There was then IMO opportunity for William's body to be relocated to a safer and more distant place. (E.g mineshaft, dam, creek bed). This may have left traces of cadaverine, but only where the body was located. According to Wendy Hudson's notes a 'smell' was reported at BCR a few days into the search. This was investigated and attributed to a dead cow. It's possible William's cadaverine scent was contaminated by other dead animals. It's also possible the dogs were never taken close enough to William's actual location to detect anything. The dogs may well have shown interest in where William was, but with William gone, there is no useful evidence for SFR.

I read that they 'searched the car', (as in, looked in the car for William), but it was several days (or longer) before they examined it again, and I don't think in 2014 they did a full forensic test. If they had, there would have been no need to do another, years later, would they?

Did FF take a car or was he searching tracks on foot?

I feel like I can almost sense a new episode of Witness on the horizon …. Episode 8:The Mazda

Not clear from Wendy Hudson's statement. Only that she was met by FM in the driveway at 6am and informed by FM that he "was out looking on his own". 😮

To me this is bizarre. Either the command post was unmanned, or they just allowed him to go off on his own.
Since she says she was 'met by the FM in the driveway', and doesn't report any interaction or briefing from fellow police at the command post I can only assume they all went home for the night, and Wendy was the first one there at 6am Saturday morning. Anything could have happened that evening/night.

If WT was moved at any time after 12th there would be cadaver indications in that car. I suspect there isn't so it means FM took W to one location probably a 10 min drive away.

If FF was told (and because he was crying you assume he must) then there is zero reason to put on a facade as early as that 6am. So perhaps he buried W where FM had placed him.

Terrible policing

This is exactly what you do to the poor McCanns.

In her book, Searching for Spiderman, Ally Chumley talks about the search in 2013 for toddler Tyler Kennedy at Johns River, not far from Kendall. The Police search was scaled back or suspended overnight, locals kept on searching on their own, finally finding him in a swampy area.

Police admitted it was a mistake not to have continued to search. https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/n...y/news-story/b316623b04aa7206fbbbc68d69c0556c

People may have been out searching the immediate area still. It's not stated that the command post was manned and operational overnight on the first night. Wendy Hudson left FGM house when the fosters had gone to bed. When she returned at 6am next day FM was in the driveway, FF was out on his own, FGM and L were reportedly still sleeping.

For that to happen the way you describe, a number of things have to fall into place.

The odds of someone discovering a deceased child and making an immediate decision to cover up and hide = 100/1.

The odds of telling partner overnight, who decides to protect wife and continue the charade = 100/1.

The odds of both of them being able to do this without leaving any forensic evidence = generously 20/1.

The odds of FF reaching his deceased son and being able to discard him like a piece of rubbish = 100/1.

The odds of Wendy Hudson having shit for brains and not noticing a car missing (which he would need) = 20/1.

Do you realise how ludicrous this sounds?

I've examined ALL the evidence and concluded (along with the vast majority of long term posters) that FM was involved in hiding a body. That wasn't always the case..Read the thread!!!! So too incidentally have SFR..I couldn't give a damn if you disagree with it. Opinion. I have a right to it.. You too. Being harassed because you don't agree with it is contrary to the purpose of the whole board......seemingly you have misconstrued that purpose to being coercing all those you don't agree with to adopt your opinion. Pass. How many posts have you contributed? 33 is the answer. Can I suggest you read the whole 330 odd pages on part 1 and 234 pages of part 2 and you might have a good platform to contribute rather than cherry pick trolling that you do

I have some doubt here minor that it is. McCanns I have zero doubt......am certain.

It's good though that my having an opinion which you can't accept, grates with you..👍 Perfect

Who said she discovered a deceased child? Not me. I think he died as a direct result of her actions.
How do you explain the ambulance needing to be called for FF on the Friday night, after having dinner. Why didn't he have his 'episode' as soon as he got home?
Something triggered it - perhaps FM revealing the truth?
Then several hours to discuss plans - where was he left, what are the chances of someone finding him? Then at first light someone goes and moves the body.
Who says Wendy didn't notice the car missing - the excuse that he was out looking for William covers this. Perhaps he took drop sheets or other items as well?
No report about when FF returned and in what state. No inspection of his car on that day either it seems.
Unlikely maybe but far from ludicrous.

“Yeah hi, my husband is having chest pains….”

No, but seriously. Who called the ambulance that time and was that call recorded??
