the Foster Mother was questioned about something like her maybe having taken 3 phones with her on that claimed single car trip to look for William?
1. FM's mobile
2. FGM's mobile
3. The fixed line phone in the FGM's home.
Maybe it isn't of much importance seeing as how the media does not appear to have reported on it yet ;).
Hmmm??? How would she have the landline with her? Did it have a long cable?

No but seriously, was there actually a suggestion that she had some phones in the car on that trip?

Portable phone.

That's not what I heard the FM say in response to the NSW Crime Commissioner interrogator.

I recall part of her response being something along the lines of (with incredulity) throwing the questioning back at the interrogator and questioning how she could have used a landline away from the home.

And something about how the FGM did not know how to use her mobile phone and that the FGM's mobile phone was usually kept in a draw? in the house, and with no battery charge in it.

Yes. 100%

Nothing about, if all the phones are gone, no one can ring out until she returns?

Portable phone.
Otherwise known as a cordless phone.

But maybe she just picked up the whole lot (either cordless and maybe the base station) or unplugged a big handset from the wall socket and took the thing with her to prevent anyone in the home from making phone calls whilst she was out?

Thats just her vibe. She’s mouthy and a bit too clever.

It was cordless. We all know that. She used it to call 000 from the home at 10:57am on 12/09/14 and it definitely wasn’t connected to a wall with a cord because she was a number of meters away from the house <near the carport I think?>
And something about how the FGM did not know how to use her mobile phone and that the FGM's mobile phone was usually kept in a draw? in the house, and with no battery charge in it.

So what, she’s taken all of the phones just in case to make sure no one could call out or to call 000 whilst she’s gone?

<I apologise for my ignorance but I was not at the inquest last week and am playing catch up.>

Oh my God. Why would she want to cut all comms for a period of time?
Wouldn't surprise me if there was absolutely no evidence that she did.
Maybe just a speculative theory, or a fishing expedition.

She has amazing recall of where her mother’s phone was located in the house!! Yet she can’t recall when she went for the drive or why she didn’t call the FF when her foster child went missing.

That is fascinating.

Houston, we have a problem.

And the problem is, now Clare and Alice and the FF have heard the FM’s 4 hour crime commission testimony and the phone call between the FM and her friend.

So now they know;

*If the FM has been lying to them for all these years, and about what.

*If her story under oath matches the story she’s told them for years.

*They know if the story has changed or if the version she gave to the Commission is the version she gave to them.

But the most crucial thing for Clare will be that she might realise that the FM believes William to be deceased, just a skeleton, and that she (the FM) expects him to be found, perhaps in a clearing in 50 or 200 years.

Skip to the Where’s William campaign..
“The Where’s William? Campaign was launched on June 26th 2015 to provide the community with more information about little William Tyrrell’s disappearance with the aim of finding him and bringing him home to his family where he belongs.”

https://www.whereswilliam.org/about-campaign/

This will predictably be devastating for Clare who has always believed and has operated on the pretence that William may still be alive.

And their whole campaign is built on the premise that William may still be alive. They were filmed for TV only a month ago saying that ‘There is still a chance that he is out there.’ After 10 long years. Gosh.

According to the Collins ladies, the foster family was “crushed” and “They remember William every minute of every day,” Clare said.

“They’re living a nightmare.”

The other issue is now the foster father has seen his wife being grilled for 4 hours at the Commission and he has heard the phone call. Will he have been listening out for inconsistencies between what he has been told by her and what she’s telling the Commission?

Then when they get home from the inquest, will he ask her about any inconsistencies or ask her why she’s lied to him about this, that and the third or will he just say nothing?

Who said she discovered a deceased child? Not me. I think he died as a direct result of her actions.
How do you explain the ambulance needing to be called for FF on the Friday night, after having dinner. Why didn't he have his 'episode' as soon as he got home?
Something triggered it - perhaps FM revealing the truth?
Then several hours to discuss plans - where was he left, what are the chances of someone finding him? Then at first light someone goes and moves the body.
Who says Wendy didn't notice the car missing - the excuse that he was out looking for William covers this. Perhaps he took drop sheets or other items as well?
No report about when FF returned and in what state. No inspection of his car on that day either it seems.
Unlikely maybe but far from ludicrous.
I want to hear from him at the next tranche of the inquest.

He knows a lot more than what he’s saying. He may hold the key to this mystery. 1 Million $$ might be just the kick-start he needs to begin a whole new life.

IMO

Please don’t tell me he could get a million dollars if he owned up to knowing all this time, (if this is what happened.)

It is partly my wry sarcasm, but I would like to think that if he had something helpful to say that he could feel like he could get a fresh start.

He’s had issues with work so it might be a massive burden off his shoulders and he could square his life away financially and maybe get a nice little house in the country: But maybe he doesn’t know anything or maybe he feels he’s got too much to lose, even with the $1Mil sitting there as a bargaining chip.

It was a knock at the door, but instinctively Lydene Heslop knew something was wrong.

“It was so much more than just a knock,” recalls Lydene, a 36-year-old mother of two and volunteer bookkeeper for the local tennis club, on whose accounts she was working at time. “It was hard, insistent, a plea for help. Then I heard the voice of the woman who was knocking and I knew something awful had happened. It was a voice tinged with desperation.”

That voice belonged to the mother of a missing boy, William Tyrell, a three-year-old last seen wearing a blue and red Spiderman outfit, whose disappearance on September 12 last year has baffled NSW police and cast a dark and enduring pall over Kendall, a small and otherwise peaceful rural community on the NSW mid-North Coast.

“The mother and the grandmother were standing at the door. The mother said a little boy was missing, that he was playing in the backyard up the road and hadn’t been seen for about 25 minutes or so,” says Lydene. “She asked if I’d seen him, but of course, I was inside. I called out to my children, who were playing out the back, and asked if they’d seen him, but they hadn’t and then all three of us started searching through the front yard, the side of the house and the backyard and the bush that borders the properties around here.

“The mother had this haunted look on her face. I remember thinking that was how I would look if one of my children went missing. At one point, we all stopped to listen because he was only a little boy and if he was in the bush, then it wouldn’t have been long before he stopped and started crying. We didn’t hear a thing except the wind in the trees.”

The boy no one can find

In the wake of William Tyrell's parents desperate plea to their child's abductor, police reveal they may have a new lead. Read The Weekly's investigation into the case of the boy no one can find.

Are Richard Donahue and Wendy Hudson possibly going to be called to give evidence at the next inquest block in late Dec 2024?

''Detective Senior Constable Roberts has told me that the camera time is incorrect and is 9 minutes slow,' his statement says.'

No.

Wasn’t it supposed to be out by 14 minutes?

What's your recollection or notes have recorded from Thursday last week at the inquest when in the 2021 NSW Crime Commission recording, the Foster Mother was questioned about something like her maybe having taken 3 phones with her on that claimed single car trip to look for William?
1. FM's mobile
2. FGM's mobile
3. The fixed line phone in the FGM's home.
Maybe it isn't of much importance seeing as how the media does not appear to have reported on it yet ;).

I faintly recall that something like this might have been mentioned in a podcast? ages ago.

BFew, have I got this right? You're not sure what was said at the inquest so maybe you're not telling us the facts as they were presented, but now you're mocking the person who could?

Unless someone was trying to phone the landline or FGMs phone in that time.

Phones/ CC

Like Geoff Owen for instance who rang at 9.10 and the call went unanswered in circumstances where the FGM reports 8 times in police walk through.....there were no calls. Mmmmmmmm. When handset is taken from radio connection the call happens but doesn't ring I think.

The questioning is by CC.. It's a a bit random thing to ask. In a roundabout way they are suggesting that FM took phones to prevent communication. That in turn is consistent with the FGM witnessing whatever happened. That is the main reason you'd do that....to control comms .

We don't have any evidence of whether the phones were in her possession only her response which fails to confirm they were. it is interesting for it's random nature though..Did they have phone tower ping evidence? Are they suggesting it because they think the GO missed call was because she took headset away? This though is way different timeline..That said if the FGM phone was kept in a drawer there was simply no charge. Lie, truth who knows.

Perhaps there was a dispute between FM and FGM about reporting the death. To prevent FGM ringing police in her absence she took handset with her.

This is all speculative though..we don't know she had phones nor reason why CC asked the question..

Dropsheets

At this stage they are drop sheets and no known link to any evidence..

WT direction

Is it correct to say that all Foster family reported that W would go down hill? This is the way he'd come? I hadn't noticed that before........but it could be intentional misinformation to direct the narrative away from the fire trail end of Benaroon?
