Why do they call it an inquest?

Yep a 4hr video about the interrogation of the FM , how is that not relevant for the coroner? Who was Mr Craddock going to inquire of, it was a video screen. We still have 1 more week left, maybe.

Again, the Coroner has everyone's statements, including the people have been re interviewed after the inquest was closed back in 2020. She knows what's been done by the police. She was shown the NSW CC video.

It's her job to weigh all the testimony & come to her findings.

Why is it necessary to spend 4 hours of Inquest time watching a video when the DC could just watch it in private?

If the public didn't see the intensive grilling that the crime commission gave the FM, they would probably want to know why they couldn't see it and what was being hidden.

Crime commission hearings are very secretive. They must have got some special permission to show that.

True, the Coroners Court was given a transcript in March 2022 & in Sep 2024 was given permission to use the video from the NSW CC.

I am trying to figure out why the bio parents of William are still being named in Episode 2 of Witness. Nothing has changed since the Coroner spoke about adhering to the orders for William’s biological family at the recent tranche of the inquest. The suppression orders are still being breached for:

Bio grandma
Bio mum
Bio dad

Why has no one stepped in and told them to stop or take it down?

Those orders are in place to protect children who are in care! They’re not in place to protect bio mum or bio dad or bio grandma, those orders are in place to protect children who are in State care.

Why is no one doing anything about it?

The fact that Ban Dox and crew have never breached the suppression orders for the foster parents in the very same podcast is a huge indicator of bias and of whom they believe has value and ought to be protected.

And that tells me I need to know when considering the info that this podcast presents.

It’s totally biased and some of it (the parts that breach Coronial orders) should be edited or taken down.

Maybe because the BM outed herself on Channel 7's Sunday Night, and I don't think Dan Box has ever named the BGM or BF. I think BGM named the BF?

I won't put it here so that her name doesn't show here.

The podcast has a lawyer involved. They probably haven't stepped over the legal line.

Vis a vis Sunday night programme: That was shown on TV before the suppression orders were issued for the bio family.

And since those orders were handed down, every news company has followed them, apart from Dan Box and his team at Witness.

Candace might have some historical articles floating around from when she was at News.com but since the orders were in place, she and all other Australian journalists have been abiding by them.

The bio grandma has been named by Dan and Dan has also named the bio father. He’s also said the name of the bio mother what seems like 100 times in that episode and he’s got her name in the episode title, just in case we missed who she was.

He’s also published photos of their faces for the promotional online material and linked articles for the podcast.

If you listen to or view the transcript of Witness Ep 2, it’s all there.

I’m not going to link it, because it breaks the law and I don’t want to share it.
