Could not believe Little claiming that Essendon had the support of the wider football community. Bloke must be living in an ivory tower. Talk back is dominated by people saying they have to go, at work everyone who is not an Essendon supporter thinks they have to go.

It is universal that no one wants to see Hird back.

So lets take a poll, do you support Essendon in their fight against ASADA?

I should thank Little was on the way to Gym when I heard that, had a massive session and pumped out some big sets. Nearly got in a fight also, I really need to get a life ;)
Wow you're a big boy. Quite the cables hey? You would have given him a Kannanook bath for sure

Biggest AFL board in the country, about as good a guide as you will get. No one on talk back supports your club except Essendon supporters.

I think your poll is ridiculous, it is stupidly slanted, after reading many of your former posts, i believe you have let yourself down with this one, you have done way better in the past.

I actaully support their court action because i think that the bulk if not all of the players were unaware that they were given banned drugs, if of course in the first place that the susbstances were actually banned,

Pretty sure I remember Little also claiming last year, when he was brand new to the job, that the AFL community was on Essendon's side against bullying by the AFL and their cursed charge sheet. That didn't last long, neither will this.

But that's not what the court action is about, is it?

Sorry Paul Little you're on your own in this thinking the wider footballing public want this to be dealt with on its merits via the tribunals that are in place to judge these matters

Ay? That's why ASADA have said that their penalty could be reduced from 2 years down to 6 months. Either way you can't take banned drugs no matter what. As a professional athlete you have to know what you're taking and you have to know what is banned and what is not banned.

Essendon's lawyers will be mounting a Johnny Cochrane style defence "if the glove don't fit, then you must aquit". It's a disgrace.

i'm completely neutral on all this.

i think they are well within their right to challenge asada and these infraction notices. what else are they meant to do? their club is smeared either way.

wouldn't say they have my 'support' or anything like that, i find the whole thing quite sad and embarrassing for essendon overall, WTF were the people in charge down there thinking? the team was building to a top 4 team and were premiership ready probably this year or next year. WTF difference would have these peptides BS made to them overall?
