I think your poll is ridiculous, it is stupidly slanted, after reading many of your former posts, i believe you have let yourself down with this one, you have done way better in the past.

I actaully support their court action because i think that the bulk if not all of the players were unaware that they were given banned drugs, if of course in the first place that the susbstances were actually banned,

Well it should be players taking action against Club, coach and Dr.. and it may well come to this... and theirs work safe to come too.
Meanwhile Saint James the narcisstic sociopath lifelong doper is in a "good place" .. summer in Paris with his mills.

i'm completely neutral on all this.

i think they are well within their right to challenge asada and these infraction notices. what else are they meant to do? their club is smeared either way.

wouldn't say they have my 'support' or anything like that, i find the whole thing quite sad and embarrassing for essendon overall, WTF were the people in charge down there thinking? the team was building to a top 4 team and were premiership ready probably this year or next year. WTF difference would have these peptides BS made to them overall?

Maybe they wouldn't have been as good without the doping?

I've been out of the loop in the last few days and just catching up on the news, but let me get this straight...

Essendon want the investigation ruled void on a technicality and all evidence gathered against it surpressed and swept under a massive carpet?

Of course this according to Essendon, is true justice.

The arrogance is astonishing.

ASDA are now the bad guys are they?

Little is aptly named. Rich but little idea of the real world.

Quite honestly, if this whole saga ends with the AFL no longer having a team called Essendon in it, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

This x1000.

Sure it would be a shame but long term no worries with them playing in the VFL, Would be great if this was the catalyst to re-jig the competition.

Fitzroy and South Melbourne were banished and the world didn't end, some of these Victorian numpties are classic "the AFL won't survive without the Bombers" or "if the Bombers don't play the AFL will loose 100's of millions".

Good chance to make the ANZAC game the Grand Final re-match. 2 sides don't deserve a monopoly on this game.

i think Little thinks he is Clive Palmer and very good at politics.

he doesnt have a charismatic face for people to actually care what he thinks. to say that essendon are essentially victims by merely whole thing taking too long isnt going to wash with anyone. need more than that little.

and if he thinks that winning on a technicality will immediately be accepted by footy public as vindication, he has another thing coming.

It would bother me - I don't like them but I still respect their history as a footy club and what they've done to grow the game from its beginnings. They have had problems over the years, mostly stemming from arrogance, but it would be incredibly sad to see them die or relocate (not that I think there is even a slight chance of that happening).

They don't have to die or relocate, move em back to VFL, the diehard supporters can still watch them play. More than Fitzroy or South Melbourne got.

Get rid of the cheats
cheat is an interesting word.. Richmond in a game a few years ago rushed behind after behind after behind to win a match by just walking it over time and time and again to run the clock down

Against the spirit of the game yes
Bringing the game into disrepute yep
Cheating ? well yes
Did they get kicked out? no

Was rushing a behind against the rules?

What an idiotic analogy.

He used the term "broader AFL community", which does not necessaarily mean public support but might refer to the AFL's head honchos and maybe the AFLPA.
That may be true to an extent. I suspect Andy D is not happy to see all his dealings to try and ensure no player got done might be going down the toilet. The AFL want Essendon to remain a strong club on field to help protect revenue.

If he means other clubs, well that didn't turn out to be the case last time Essendon claimed to have their support.

The rule had to be changed before we had games where they finished with 30 behinds rushed in a row
But it wasn't cheating. It isn't even cheating now, the other team just gets a free kick

But they were bringing the game into disrepute
Are you really that delusional to compare something that happens in a game, the penalty for which is a free kick, as is pushing in the back, incorrect disposal and a myriad of other things, with a systematic injection of players with things that were either illegal, or they didn't know what they would do to humans?

I mean, are you actually making that comparison? Seriously

Now the Bomber faithful are trying to re-define the English language. You'd better tell Little and he can sue the Oxford Dictionary as well.
