May not be a popular opinion, but I don't mind him within his role as the President of a Football club. Kennett is gone, so there needs to be someone else with a profile aside from Eddie, and he seems to say all the right things in that regard.

He is exactly what Port needed. Even if he was just a figurehead for the club he would be doing his role admirably.
He is fairly tall isn't he? On Sunrise live crosses he is usually taller than the interviewees

I have nothing against him. Does a great job promoting SA to a national audience and will always stand up for what he believes in. Loved him in the whole breast-feeding debate where he was up against a bunch of whinging feminists and never backed down. Tries a bit too hard but seems to be a good guy.
What I don't like - and I've said this from the start - is that many Port supporters now love him and treat him like some kind of God. The same Port supporters that on numerous occasions expressed their complete and utter hatred of the man. Amazing how once you're affiliated with Port you're an absolute legend. I long for the day that Tippett joins Port as a goal kicking coach and they treat him like the second coming.
