After getting 10 points up against Geelong in the 3rd quarter the other week, Mick decided to pack it in for the winter, we had proven we are the best team in the comp, and to reserve our energies for a successful finals/premiership campaign when the real stuff counts.

Brilliant coaching by the mastermind allowing Geelong to win the May Premiership, which has allowed their already over-inflated heads to grow even further (see James Kelly), leaving them ripe for the picking.

Mick must have used the same logic in 2 prelim finals as well; in fact how many premierships has he won for you losers?

Have to love the way Collingwood talk themselves up before big games, only to fall flat on their faces. Before last year's NAB Cup grand final, they were saying they were keen to win their 1st trophy since 1990, yet lost by 70+ points, including a goalless 2nd quarter, going from level pegging at 1/4 time to a 40 point half time deficit.

Not learning from that, they came out before the Preliminary final saying the Cats were the only team under pressure and that their current side was a lot better than the 2007 Prelim side. The end result? Another 70 point plus smashing, including a goalless last quarter.

I can't wait to see what "mind games" they try to employ the next time they meet the Cats in a big game.

Not been too flash in the past but certainly improving and don't have a false perception of how good we are. Oh and by the way most of us have a little bit of education and don't talk like we've been dragged out of the gutter.
