Doggies admit to Chucking in the GF - Do we need to put an * next to their Premiership?

Do we need to put a * next to the Doggies' 2016 Premiership?

  • Due to questionable umpiring & blatant rule abuse.... Yes.

  • If it'll legitimize the Swans' complaints...... No.

  • If it'll piss off Plugger............... No.

  • Jack Watts thinks after 60 years Doggies fans won't care if that * is the size of the moon

You Bullflogs have been sooking about the umpiring in the 2009 prelim for years where the free kick count was even and now you tell others to move on lol.

Now you're just talking bullshit, Plugger played his best football at the Saints, that's where he won a Brownlow.

Oh dear.

Time you moved on too, Plugger.

You're in danger of missing the 2017 season if you don't...

Didn't say they can't be questioned. There are posters here who can't even utter their name, for fear of it somehow tainting their flag.

I disagreed with the AFL vehemently about trade ban but what good did that do?

It's the right and left sides of Hegel's dialectic in action. It's monstrous, it's called the tyranny of reason.

But the point is that by your logic the AFL banning you from trading was right because they deemed it so.

My point is you can argue the point all you like, if the umpire decides one way, and you disagree, you're stuffed, correct? I didn't agree with many of the umpiring decisions on the day, but I was the first Swans poster on here after the GF to congratulate them on winning. The Umpires' Umpire came out after the game and said the umpires got some decisions wrong. Doggies' fans don't like it.

I see both decisions as valid, the umpires on the day (because there's nothing that can be done) and the subsequent review of the match. None of it changes the result, which I've never questioned.

Phew, for the 100th time I've had to explain this...

If you read between the lines he's basically admitted you got a good ride from the umpires.

The main reason the AFL are cracking down on throwing is because of the Bulldogs exploiting it last year.

It's like when they cracked down on players deliberately rushing behinds after the Hawks exploited it in 2008 and we all know how well they went in 2009.

It's no wonder Bevo's worried.
That and a few key retirements and injuries

But but but... Barry Hall '05!

Just try and focus on not falling off a cliff, or at the very least beating the druggies. I've tipped you in my work quadrella.
When you've been as high as we have for so long some drop off has to take place. I don't mean that in a "Run into 4 parked cars" kind of come down. The comp is set up for equalisation (well some clubs have the tables tilted in their favour, extra salary cap and that kind shiite) hence unless you have a blinder with 2nd and 3rd round picks you'll come back to the field. Besides, the comp would be rather boring if we won it every year, don't you think?

I too hope we beat the brave cheating scum this arvo/evening.

You know how we were talking about one person's team not playing like shit and ruining the tips for the other....

Shouldn't slag off players I hear.
Good luck for round 2.

People forget that the AFL gave Sydney the option to give up the COLA and trade as much as they wanted, but the Swans elected to keep their unfair advantage over the rest of the competition instead.

Didn't stop Andrew "I have no knowledge of art but am told this painting is a great investment!" Pridham from sooking as if they'd been unfairly victimized. :$

Spot on.

And don't forget the Swans got Tippett for free courtesy of the AFL as well. Even after the Swans sought to blackmail the cheating Crows into a favourable trade rather than reporting the cheating.

So the Swans run around with Buddy (COLA) and Tippett (AFL penalty) and still bitch.

What a bunch of entitled sooks.

Now that the Doggies' season is over we're in a better position to gauge how lucky they were to salute last year....

Incidentally I've allowed votes in the poll to be changed. Just in case you voted No.

Still salty over the #straighsetdawks2016??

The time to build a bridge well and truly passed months ago

It certainly is now revenge is a dish best served cold.

Good to know it still hurts you guys.. almost as bad as those salty swans who keep stinking up the gameday threads :)
