Graeme HickSounds like a coaching problem. The coaches should have told them not to try to hit every ball that wasn't on the stumps or practiced letting the ball go outside off stump. Who were the assistant coaches?

Sounds like sabotageGraeme Hick
Looks like Geelong get back Rohan, Bowes and Dangerflog
Nah he'll play. Fairly obvious.. been training stronglyDanger still in doubt and the other 2 do not equal the out of Ratugolea. Plus we are stronger with Treloar in. No excuses not to extract some revenge on the cats who we have a poor recent record against. in recent games.
Good. If we're serious this year we'll beat them even if they're at full strength. Hope they all play are are 100% fitLooks like Geelong get back Rohan, Bowes and Dangerflog
Ratagulea out isn't a big deal I don't think.Danger still in doubt and the other 2 do not equal the out of Ratugolea. Plus we are stronger with Treloar in. No excuses not to extract some revenge on the cats who we have a poor recent record against in recent games.
Monday, Wednesday is the big session and then Friday captains run, Tues/Thurs generally off / incredibly light dutiesSorry for the intrusion, do the dogs train today?
I'm happy for my math to be challenged, and I limited my analysis and projections to just Naughts and Marra over the remaining 12 rounds.Any chance we could get a breakdown of games at Marvel compared to the other venues this year?
I'm tipping the stats would look far more positive.
We have played five games this year in tricky conditions. This absolutely needs to be factored in.
Let's revisit this table after our next five matches at Marvel, I can guarantee you Lobb and Jamarra in particular will be vastly improved. Naughton, well, no guarantee there.
How do people still have faith in keath? It was a really concerning game from Gardner who simply panicked any time he got the ball and was on Lukosious when he kicked most of his goals. No doubt the balance is wrong down there with he and O'brien and O'Donnell.
Out: Gardner, McNeill
In: Treloar, Keath
Need Keath v Hawkins
How do people still have faith in keath?
Danger will play, Scott trying to play smoking mirrors.
Keath has been dropped this season for poor form and I’d argue he was our worst performing player last season.. his credits in the bank have ran out with me, sorryHe was one of our best earlier in the year against Brisbane I think. Gardner and Obrien are train wrecks half the time. Bruce is unproven.
Therefore its Jones then daylight so I think its a fair proposition.
Has looked a shadow of himselfHow's Mclean going? Any improvement from the start of the year? Keen to see him have a proper crack in the side.
Unfortunately I think he's finished to be honest. He's now moved into elite VFL mid category that doesn't have the tricks required to play AFL. Toby is a good accumulator but he's lost all speed and agility that he'd need to play a role with us.How's Mclean going? Any improvement from the start of the year? If Danger plays it means they'll be able to let Blicavs roam and potentially do a job on Bont. If he doesn't then they need Blicavs playing as a ball winning mid. I wouldn't play Jones on Cameron because Jezza will get up the ground and drag Jones away from the action where we need him most. The key tonight when the teams are released, will be whether Dangerfield plays. He is still able to impact and turn games from the middle at times, and to a degree has carried Geelongs midfield with their injuries, and Selwood moving on. If he is not named, we have zero excuses not to be able to control the middle of the ground.
That being said, we should have beaten them are Marvel last season, and the pissed away a great start down at the Cattery.
In the last game, we shut down their tall players, whilst running with an efficient forward game. After half time, Geelong went to plan B. Which was mostly clearing our their forward line, and using their small and quick players to run out the back of us, and into loads of space repeatedly. And we reverted to kicking it to Stewarts direction most of the time. In the end, we got smashed.
Need to control the middle, minimize their smalls getting any run through the ground, and have our forward line move around and get open. Need to make those countless inside 50s count for more. Don't let Stewart pick off everything. Given Geelongs back line is tall and physical, it would not surprise me if Naughton, Marra and Lobb have a tough day at the office. Which is where our smalls come in, crumb everything that gets spilled to the ground.
I expect Jones to get the job on Cameron, possibly Hawkins, the question will be, who gets the other? Cameron moves up the ground a bit, and is more mobile. Hawkins creates as much goals as he scores.
Agree that Danger is a key for them, but Mitch Duncan is a massive out for them too. He is a gun inside/outside link up midfielder - one of the most versatile mids in the game. Duncan is close to a return but prefer it not to be this week. The key tonight when the teams are released, will be whether Dangerfield plays.
