I’ve tried to watch the Olympics twice today. Once it was cycling, surely the worst spectator sport known to man. The other time it was soccer which has absolutely no place being at the Olympics games.

Velodrome cycling is right up there with the best olympic sport. White water rafting is also great.

I hope to see Bevo try something different tonight against the Dee’s system. Last time we never looked in the game at all, even though we played them even almost after quarter time. I think it was our worst game of the season so far.

I was hoping we would have Dunks and Treloar back to play them next time but so be it.

So I hope we have worked things out otherwise if we let Melbourne play the way they want to play then we won’t win. We can’t let May and Lever just pick us off all night and free up Salom to cut us to threads. Plus we have to win the midfield battle against Petracca and Oliver. Can’t stop Gawn but we have to win once the ball gets to ground. Need a huge game from Libba, but expect them to tag him again like last time.

C’mon Bevo we really need you to change some things in this one.

I’m choosing not to watch tonight because I got a bit too angry during the Swans game and I don’t like being that person. I’m going to monitor the game through this thread. Can people refrain from super ambiguous posts like “oh wow” because that could mean either the Bont has kicked a cracker or Cordy has mistimed a spoil and cost us another goal. The cycling is similar to the marathon but with bikes. Not exactly the best watching sport but a huge sport in Europe. Basically the Olympics event for them is what they would call a one day classic.
